Any help here?
I can get the basic test tone but how do you adjust the level in DB? audacity has a weird way of doing it..
unless there are other free programs out there that can generate test tones...
and no I DO NOT want to download test tones. I want to test a few things...
I am on a mac btw.

i dl'ed a few tone generators but i dont know how to use em that good, lemmie find a link

in audacity when you generate the tone, it will ask you what amplitude to make it, I usually chose .5 but it probably doesn't matter... Anyway, to get your desired volume you select the whole track and you go to Effects>Amplify and when the box pops up, the number in the bottom box is your peak dB, just adjust the slider until your peak dB is where you want it.

thanks! only issue is that when i created and exported them...the wave seems to be fluctuating? it seemed fine in audacity?

i guess its fine now... i realize that with the mac version when you go to type and save it...the keyfunctions still work for commands in audacity. so it modified it some weird way...
but i got it to work!
