  2. 8ft exactly truck style size box
  3. How many 4" ports would be needed for a BL18 and how long should they be? Tune to 33hz is the goal
  4. Well the ssd15's hold 800rms each and BL18 holds 1k rms, so would 1400 on 1 18BL be better than 700rms on each SSD15? we only have 8ft to work with, and want the best flex possible.
  5. Hello my brother has a ford ranger with a box that has exactly 8ft of air space and a MMATS 1400RMS amp, would 2 SSD15's or 1 BL18 flex harder? 2nd question: Will 4" PVC pipe work for the ports? if so how long and how many should we use? Thank you.
  6. Grats on the subs! Let me know how it sounds when you get it rumbling.
  7. Well I am going to run a goliath on 2 18" BTL's and wasn't sure if I needed them fully loaded or not.
  8. I miss worded my question, I ment what does a fully loaded BTL have over a non-loaded BTL?
  9. What advantages does a fully loaded btl have over a reg. btl? Is fully loaded for SPL only? Why does one need to be fully loaded? EDITED**
  10. Goliath it is! I can get them for around 950-1k$ each and might run 4 btl18's and 2 goliath's, then again might try 2 btl18's first and add 2 more later.
  11. Nice! I am looking at a HiFonics Cyclops or Goliath per 2 18's, thats 2k or 2500 each depending on which I choose, which do yall recomend?
  12. I have decided if I am going FI that I need to go BtL over BL, and need some help on the RMS figures. I know Steve runs 4kRMS per 18 and does very well, but how do these subs respond to only 2krms each? I have heard they can eat up 10krms each and keep going. Do you need the full options to run higher power? Will the differance of 2krms to each versus 3krms or 4krms to each be that massive? This is a Daily driver vehicle. I am planning on running Hifonics amps. Thanks for any advice.
  13. I don't know if anyone has mentioned this(kinda new here), but Toccata by Manheim Steamroller on the CD Fresh Aire III has an awesome sweep of all tones, and the bass is a growing rolling tone, and the highs will work even the best high setup. I tryed to upload it, but it wasnt happening >.<
