I dont know if its externally regulated I ordered one from mechman I got it and put it in. It came with no freakin blue box just the alt with black plastic cover on the back. Sorry to be so stupid you must troll my topic. Everyone starts somewhere troll so move on if you have no help to offer alternator master.
