  1. i built it with a slot port. look awsome cant wait to hear it. we then welded up the amp rack. its sort of like a rear strut bar. its mounted to the rear seat belt mounts., 1" squar stock across, with a steel plate welded off of it at 45 deg. then 3/16 polycarb painted gunmetal from the back and rivited to that. then we floted the amp off the colycarb a little with leds under it. my phone was dead, but I will try and get pics up soon. next is to make the trim panel, mount the battery, run wire, install front components and rear coax, then tune and enjoy.
  2. ok, so I think I have it figured out. .5 sealed, .75 ported with a 3" round flared port 23.5" long. It will be built with 3/4" birch with the entire top being 1/2" polycarb. I really could use the help of the 4th order guys on this. Am I in the right direction? help me out here. Also, I don't know how to make the elbow on the port in sketchup, so I'm just not showing it. I also don't know how to do the flares either...
  3. I have now been thinking about the idea of maybe a 4th order. .6 cubes sealed, 2 cubes ported with a 6" aero tuned to 40 Hz. Any input on this idea?
  4. yeah I guess just going with .75 and slot port it 14" huh
  5. so, looking at the recommended box on Sundown's page, it looks like it is.945 ^3ft net. with 14.625 inches of port 39" long. to get it at 35 Hz. Is this right? but they recomend .75^3ft. I dont know now. also in win isd that port comes out to be 157" long. I'm thinking like maybe 26". what should I do?
  6. On thier website, it says .5 cubes ported, but this seems really small. Also what port is best? Its going in a '96 Camaro. I don't know if I should used a round port or slot port. And I was even thinking, if I can fit it, maybe a T-line. Thoughts?,,,
  7. the only amp dreams I have are of the Zapco DC 656. I need two if them for my Mercedes.
