just doing some mechanical change for future sound system, as I am currently pricing to install 2 15 inch subwoofers in the back

i swapped the factory alternator with a Mechman L series 240A alternator.

just wondering because I am looking to build a 1,000 watt system and I don't want to add extra batteries to create the power needed, but what would be needed to be changed to run a 14V main battery. I have all ready upgraded the alterator to 250 amps and put in a big 3 kit to maximise the alts potential.

Hi, I am a little curious about higher volt batteries like 14 and 16 volt. I am wondering wether or not they will damage my standard 12v elctrical system in my 1996 tacoma.
