  1. I won't be as greedy, 90.4 will be just fine for me. Changes look great!
  2. DAAAAAMN! That looks amazing, LOVE the inverted surround. Wish I would've known these were in the works before buying the SD2 only a month ago. Oh well. Great work though, can't wait to see the rest.
  3. ^lmao Yeah, there will be many fun hours in that thing. Awesome and congrats on the new buy
  4. I like that a vendor is willing to go the extra length and be reached directly for questions. But I also agree that a question such as this one should be answered publicly so we can all benefit from that little bit of knowledge.
  5. Yeah, I am sadly well aware. Usually I'm able to ignore itches, but this one became too much. Thanks rF_E
  6. Hey fellow forumers, I'm Lucas. Looking forward to spending endless hours here with the rest of you. I've been a visitor for a month or so, lurked and learned until I decided to sign up. Figured I'll be around more and I like the community, so I'll just sit my ass down and make myself at home. Right now I've got an 01 Tundra. Damn near mint condition minus a little rust here and there, but great truck. Plan on keeping it only for another year or two until I've got a new house and don't have to be on such a strict budget anymore, so I'm not doing any crazy car audio additions to it. Right now I've got a JVC head unit, non-amped RF 6.5" speakers, got a RF R500X1D in route and will be ordering just a single Sundown SD-2 8 in a week. I've got an 8 year old daughter, so I'm not willing to give up any backseat space which led me to the SD8. I've had the bass itch for about a year now and finally doing something about it. Not a deep scratching of the itch, but a nice rub to hold me over. I've been into car audio since before I could drive though I never had an amazing system (yet... next truck). Uh, so that's it. Hi
  7. Man, that looks awesome! Patience aside, I wish I had even half the know-how of that work.
  8. I keep going back and forth between two amps for a single SD-2 10. Which would you recommend? Will 800w be fine as a daily driver with the bass turned down a notch or two, or will I be plenty happy at 500w? I don't have space for two subs so I'm looking to get as much bang out of a single 10" as I can without blowing the sub. Peoples' reviews seem to often say throw more at these SD-2 series with no problem. Pioneer GM-D9601 (800w x 1 @ 2ohms) Link or Rockford Fosgate R500X1D Prime (500w x 1 @ 2ohms) Link If it helps, this will be going into my Toyota Tundra, down firing in a sealed box @ .5 cuft
