  1. From a person who has had both subs... go with the SA's on that power. You will love it!!!!
  2. How good is your current electrical? Just curious because you may not see a true 2000 watts from that amp. From what I understand is stock electrical can usually supply enough for 2000 watts but it is also my understanding that those amps are very power hungry. You should be okay though... I have my SA15's paired with a SCV-2000D at half an ohm.
  3. I actually ended up waiting on purchasing another sub. I need to do a little more research before I order something new. For now I am just going to build two boxes for the subs I currently have and take it from there. I have an AB XFL 12 and old school (2005) 15 inch RE Audio SX that was reconed to PSI. The single 12 probably won't be enough for me, but I can get an idea if I want to run a single sub setup with the 15 I have. If it's not enough for me, then I can upgrade to a pair of 15's. If I run a single 15 it would be either an X, SA, XFL, FI Q or AA Havoc. If I run a pair then it would probably be some SA's or XFL's. Yeah, I keep hearing the same thing about the X which has steered me away a little. One thing that has kept me with Sundown is the durability. I have honestly beat up my SA's and my X when I had it and they took it with ease every time. If it wasn't for that I have always been curious about Ascendant Audio.
  4. I definitely thought about it but was skeptical about the spl coils being musical being that it's my daily set up.
  5. What did you end up getting? I currently have 2 SA-15's running off a SCV-2000D and love it! I used to have 1 X15 running off my SCV-2000D. For being a single sub set up, it wowed me and a lot of others. The only down side for me is that it did not hit higher frequencies which made me go with the SA-15's. But it sure shook my ride with all the lower frequencies!
