  1. Having an issue with audio control LC2i. Have it wired to my factory system in a 2016 dodge charger. Powering a Fosgate prime 1200 1-D Worked great for about a year. Then my subwoofer stopped working, it’s a sundown SA-12. It moves but just barley. LC2i and amp power up but as music plays the amp LED flashes red, it’s stays blue but flashes red at the same time. I tested amp and sub on a friends vehicle everything works great. Any idea what could be going on with the LC2i let me know.

  2. Cant decide what to wrap my box with leather, or carpet. Or if I should get it sprayed with spectrum or a bed liner.

Any other ideas or what you would go with? Let me know.

Spectrum to protect and seal then carpet? Maybe some of that ultra suede stuff with a very thin foam layer under the suede to feel like a cushion on the visable panels, carpet the rest of the panels. Idk lol just an idea, i like the ultra suede stuff.

I think he means just to use the liner or spectrum as a finish. OP, ive used a ass load of ROCKET and RAPTOR LINER. I got it from SUMMIT RACING. My entire flat wall, door panels, and roof was sprayed with it.  Im 99% sure its the same stuff Steve used on his honda wall, and a couple enclosures hes built. Its a pretty cool look imho. Cheap, easy, hides flaws well, and rugged looking. Ive never used spectrum for a finish, but did see the one enclosure Steve used it on,.... looked pretty damn good i think.

Thanks for the ideas, I really like the suede idea tho. So I think I'll go ahead and seal it then wrap it in suede. And yeah I saw that box Steve did with the spectrum it came out super clean. I'll post finished pics.

  3. Alright I will do that. Thanks again for all the help, your product is A1!
  4. Thanks for the help man really appreciate it. Think I'm gonna try CCF first. Overall im super happy with the layer of damplifier Second Skin for the Win!! Any other tips for when installing the CCF?
  5. Thanks for the advice here's some pics of what I'm talking about.
  6. You cant see it to well but its pretty similar on mine at the top middle
  7. Nice man sounds good. I might try that. I do have a gap in between the trunk lid panel that's pretty big, only problem is it has my brake light harness and access running through it so kinda hard to cover that up.
  8. Appreciate the advice bro. I'll post some pics on my garage so you can check em out.
  9. So I applied a layer of second skin damplifier pro in my 2016 dodge charger trunk. The vibration was suppressed a bit, and sounds great in the cabin. But the trunk lid still rattles pretty bad. I am running one sundown sa-12 in a custom ported box tuned to 32hz at 700 watts from a fosgate prime 1200.1D. I need some advice to tame the rattles. Should I add another layer? Or something else? Any advice or tips would be appreciated thanks in advance.
