  1. For those who don't understand. I have a HC1400 under the hood. And a HC800 in the rear. I will be running a 0ga wire to connect them together for extra voltage power. The amp will be connected off the HC800. Off the HC800 I am asking this: Should I run a 4ga wire off the HC800 to the amp because the amp takes 4ga power input? OR Shall I run a 0ga wire off the HC800 and run the 0ga into a converter and convert it down to a 4ga wire? When I was asking were to place the ANL fuse I was saying if I used the converter then would I place to the ANL on the 0ga or the 4ga but I don't think it will matter because I will be using a 4ga straight off the rear battery to my amp (will the ANL acourse). Sorry for all the confusion. I have been having internet problems. I did have AOL dial up and I live too far out to get dsl or anything. My mom got mad at AOL and told them if they wouldn't change a few passwords then we were cancelling (I am 18). So my only internet connection is off my blackberry. I think everyone should understand now.
  2. If there is a fuse under the hood then why would I need a fuse in the truck b4 the rear battery? Seeing how the wire under the hood goes to the rear battery. I will just need a fuse under the hood and a fuse going from the battery in back to the amp.
  3. Ok so just get a 4ga wire to run to my amp off the rear battery with a 150a ANL fuse 16" away on the power wire from the battery. I think I got it. Pictures are not able to happen because I haven't installed anything. I am getting ALL product and wiring before I do it all. I have all my toys and just need to get the wires now so I am asking all about them. Thank you everyone for yalls help. I need to look online for the product numbers and then I'll be set.
  4. Lol you figured it out lol. The amp takes a 4ga input and I was going to run a 0ga wire from the batterys. Then into a converter box a (0ga input to three 4ga outputs) and run a 4ga wire to my amp but I don't know where to place the anl fuse box. Also use a 4ga ground from the amp to metal.
  5. I should explain better. The HC1400 is my front battery and the HC800 is the rear battery. There is an distribution box is the 0ga input to three 4ga output I was talking about: Stinger SPD515. The amp takes a 4ga and I am not a big fan of grinding strands off the power to make a 0ga fit a 4ga. I was going to use 150amp anl fuses. One coming off the 1400 and one coming off the 800 to protect my amp extra. Its a Soundstream TRX2000D.
  6. I am going to run 0ga wire from my HC1400 to my HC800 (batterys) and off the HC800 I am going to put an ANL fuse/fuse box. I was wondering if I should run a 4ga wire from the HC800 to my amp or a 0ga w/ an distribution box (0ga input to three 4ga outputs). Also then put an ANL fuse off the 0ga or 4ga in between the amp and HC800. Here is the product I am looking at (part numbers) and it is all Stinger just fyi. I just need to order my wires and after this my car will be taken apart and a lot of work will begin. SHK201 HPM SPD515 SPD5204 (2) GANL150PT. THANK YOU!!!
  7. HC1800 specs Weight: 54 lbs. Ah: 81 Amps: 1900 Dimensions: 10" x 6.5" x 8.2" ok another question since the battery gives 1900 amps does that mean that will give the system enough amps to power it properly? With 2 HC1800s i'll have a total of 3800 amps? AND i found out my stock alternator is 90 amps. I AM SO SORRY FOR ALL THE NOOB QUESTIONS.
  8. I think i understand ya. Sadly they do not make a aftermarket alternator for the xA and I could have it rebuilt and TRY to get more amps out of it but I am not so sure, So yes it i running a stock alternator. (2x) HC1800s you say? Will this help? How can I keep from dimming without getting another alt?
  9. I got a 2006 Scion xA and i am removing the spare tire in the hatch. I can fit any battery i want. And I can pay for whatever But to save some money i am just making sure
  10. Hello everyone. I just need a little more help with the setup, since i am ALMOST there. I have 2x 10" T5s, and a TRX2000d which means 1500w @ 2ohm from subs, 1500w x1 channel @ 2ohm I need a battery though and dont want to waste my money with a cap. I picked out the Kinetik HC1800 which i can get for $245 even. My question is: With 1500w o my amp/subs can i run a HC1800 and run it everyday all day with it turned up without having ANY of my lights dim? I dont really wanna waste time with trial and error so i wanna get this aspect done before i go to the warehouse and pick them up. Thank you for reading and Thank You for helping me out.
  11. shit my bad i got his whole setup WAY throwed off. *06 Scion xA (2x) 12" L7s, (2x) PCA2000D, and hit a 147.4 on a TL (doors closed, mic on window)
  12. i'll see if they can email me their charts and etc. but for now i am going to sleep. i'll get on tomorrow afternoon/night
  13. i'll see what they rated on. i actually think the L7s where on TL but i will check. but remember its all about the box. thats how the 400w P2s hit so hard.
  14. 144db on 600w w/ (4x) 10" W1s in a sealed box... on a xB gen2. lol we use the same meters everyone else uses. Cartoys' metering system, Texas Bass Productions, Etc
  15. does this sound right.... 400w tC RF P2s (2x) 10"s..... 154db cz i was standing by that car tonight. Scion is probly the most stable cars out on the road as far as making numbers happen. and u can burn me as must as you want for that comment. i may not know how to wire but i know Scion very well.
