Mine are the OLD type well not good news if even the new ones happen like that ive owned this for over 8 years and this is the first problem . I bought the blue goop only 4.38$!!! Cleaned it all off with rubbing alcohol and followed the directions. Im going to let it dry for 48 hours then see how well it works. thanks for the help guys. -

Well at my house i found 100% silicone sealant. but its for Kitchen&bath. I dont believe this is the correct stuff. I will give a run to home depot and look for the goop. And i assuming just clean both surfaces with some rubbing alcohol? -

Naw they warrenty has been up forever. I have had these for i believe 8 or so years. So dont use CA model glue but instead use silicone? -
Hey i have the old style alpine type r's 12 inch. And i noticed a sloppy sounding bass today. I popped my trunk and noticed that one of the subs cone is seperating from the rubber surrong around the bottom 1/4 of the sub. I was wonder what i could do to repair this myself. If not should i just buy new ones? Other then this i have had NO problems with them in the many years i have had them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
