  2. sorry for jackin thread, but what exactly is clipping.
  3. So im about to mount my btl, but i dont know what size or type of screw im supposed to use. If it matters, my box is double baffled. I know that im supposed to pre drill holes first, and then put screws in. Call me a noob if you want, but i dont wanna fuck anything up. I was about to just take the screws out of my old sub and use them, but i rather ask so i can know the proper items im supposed to use.
  4. i just ordered the amp today, so wont have it for about 2 weeks. I bought the btl about 2 weeks ago, but they still havent shipped it. Does anybody know how long it usually takes? I really want my sub and i dont have a meter nor do i know how to do it. Im guessin you mean finding out the db's.
  5. oh you mean 18" long..... ok yea i dont know how long it is. I had a local guy build me the box. I just know the port height is 14.5 and the width is 3. He told me that the box was a little different from the picture, but im not sure how it looks on the inside, because i wasnt there for the build. Hopefully he followed the 18" rule too.
  6. thats good to hear. I have a high amp alternator on the way, along with a 2400 kinetic in the trunk. I didnt mean to say re is mediocre, but just the model sub i had. They wernt anywear near the top of the line ones. As for the box, its a ported, 2.8 cuft, tuned at 33hz.
  7. So i just bought my new saz-3000d from chris at db-r wahoo!!! And i was just wondering on which setup you guys think is gonna be louder. My new setup: saz-3000d 1 "12 fi btl fully loaded or old setup: mtx 81000d @ 1ohm (1500rms) 2 "12 re audio sr's Im a newb at stereos, but I know that the more subwoofers you have, the more air you move right? So is one powerful subwoofer, louder than 2 mediocre subwoofers?
