hey thanx fo rthe advice guys well the second btl 18 arrived today...in fact i went and metup with my ups guy just to be sure lol cuz sometimes he does not make it before i leave to work and thats a pretty heavy box man even for a bodybuilder like me lol.....anyway i was wondering what u guys thought of those digital designs subs? that are supposed to take like 8000 w? and can i have the same affect as two btls using one digital design sub? or am i good with my btls? another guy mentioned to be careful with the btls clipping? that they dont handle clipping easy and they will fry the coil?

hey brewer yes they are the top subs from re now over 70 lbs ea ! the excursion on these subs are crazy ! i just got them new and just had that custom ported box made for them (46w x 15h x 16d) about 6 cubes and it slams like you cant beleive ! and im using that visonik 4000w amp and they can handle over 4000w peak and over 2000w rms no problem gonna change my setup and if i dont include these subs in my new setup i may consider selling them and that box too just remind me and ill post it here or send u a message.......

yeah public i know what u mean but i dont think i haevg that much space back there dont want to use it all up its my only car besides my motorcycles...lol well i may push it to 11 max ...we were shooting for 10.

ok decaf here are my older jbl crown amps (now spare) 1100w ea they fried these 4 old 10" kicker solobarics in a old bandpass box and fried my 10" kicker solo x ! do not believe when they say that solo x 10" or 12"s or 15" are 5000w peak and 2500 rms ! even kicker themselves told me that the normal power handling is a thousand and change ! so with that i lost all interest in kicker subs. http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn104/B...psyellowtop.jpg

ok decaf i will send pics of the current setup with the 2 re xxx 12"s in a ported 6 cube box dont get me wrong this thing slams the way it is i just got addicted to bass and want more lol.......i may have some pics now of the prior setup with maybe one yellowtop and factory alt and one 9 yr old bandpass box with 4 kicker 10" solobaric old school subs 15 yr old ones. hmmmm im tryin to find away to upload a photo on here any suggestions?
