i got pulled over doing 110 in a 50 and the cop nocked it down to 70 in a 50 and went to pay the ticket and the dumb ladie put it as i want a court hearing so i went to court and the cop ant show up so the judge threw it out i was happy as hell

we got 500.1 amps and everything is a qurter was up and mine or in a ported box and his is in a sealed box

ok we found out whats wrong 1 of the coil is blown on 1 sub so he unhooked that coil and not they are almost as loud as mine and he can turn the bass up to 15 on the radio and no more popin thanks for the help from u guys/girl

they or wired up the same as mine and how jl said to wire them up and im not sure about how fast he turns the radio up i will let u guys know tomorrow when we put his in my car to see if they stop thanks for the help so far

the only eq we have on the radio is bass and teable and the bass he has his on 0 because of the popin and i leave mine on 15 we are going to put his on my amp tomorrow and see if it still does it if so whats that mean his subs or messed up

both amps are quarter way up on everything and they both have no bass boost or loud we both got alpine d300 tvs

like i said not to be rude i had 2 w6s on a 500.1 for the last 5 years and i drive the car every day and they slam

i had my set up for the last 5 years and never had a problem and on jls websit they say the 500.1 is the perfect amp for the sub it says anything over 500 is bad

my brother got 2 12 in jl w6 subs and at low level they sound good but when he turns the radio past 15 the subs start to pop and they are hooked up to a jl 500.1 we dont know y because i got the same set up and i can turn mine all the way up and they dont pop and both amps and radios are set up the same what can be wrong with his the only dif between the 2 set ups is mine got a 3f power cap

on my old car it was a chevy beretta i keep breaking the plastic thing on the back of the car with 2 12in pa fubars

go to wall mart and get the harness my dads denali has one and it was 40 after tax he has a alpine indash tv with one and no problem at all
