The ground problem is fixing for about a hour with the disassembling. One resistor burns, if you make short between positive(+) and negative(-) on the RCA. With soldering it directly the problem is fixed forever. All pioneers have that problem, and you should not fear of that. If I found pics on the "repairing" I'll post them here. I used to have 9886 and EQ settings are only Bass and Treble , with Frequency adjustments, that don't help enough. I have no touches with 105, but i think it would be the same poor EQ. Imprint - I personally don't like it. 9855 I think have a lot of settings or Hi series of pioneer, like prs800 (the new) 7800/860/960 (from the old models)
