  1. This thread was helpful because I used my DD1 and CC1 to set my gains and crossovers on my SAZ 1200D. The only thing is that the red prong went on the speaker negative instead of the speaker positive. The DD1 and CC1 are good investments.
  2. For sale in an almost new Rockford Fosgate T1500-1BDCP. It was only used for 2 weeks. It comes with birthsheet, instructions, original box, etc. I have plenty of references over at caraudio.com as cleansoundz, diyma as cleansoundz and I have 100% feedback on EBAY as mjh7096. Asking $365 shipped, no trades. The specs are listed below: Constant Power Series Monoblock Class bD Car Amplifier RMS Power Rating (14.4V): 4 ohms: 1,000 watts x 1 chan. 2 ohms: 1,500 watts x 1 chan. 1 ohm: 1,500 watts x 1 chan. [*]Remote bass level input (Punch PEQ remote level control sold separately) [*]LED power (blue), protect (yellow) and thermal (red) indicators [*]Variable Bass Boost (0 to +18 dB bass boost at 45 Hz) [*]Gyrator based punch EQ eliminates frequency shift with boost [*]Mono channel operation [*]Audiophile grade speaker connections [*]Preamp Pass-Thru RCA outputs to daisy chain multiple amps [*]3-Way System Protection circuitry (thermal, overload, and speaker short protection) [*]Dual speaker terminals simplify the hookup of multiple speakers [*]Heavy duty cast aluminum convection heatsink with Direct Thermal Management evenly distributes heat across the entire heatsink for improved efficiency [*]Nickel-plated RCA level inputs [*]Nickel-plated clamp wire terminals [*]Input sensitivity: Level: 150mV-5V [*]Variable low-pass filter (35-250 Hz, 24 dB/octave Butterworth) [*]Selectable Infrasonic filter (12 dB/Octave, -3dB at 28 Hz) [*]Damping factor: >200 [*]CEA-2006 compliant amplifier [*]Frequency response: 20-250 Hz [*]Designed and Engineered in the U.S.A. [*]External 200A fuse required and sold separately [*]Dimensions: 14-15/16"L x 8-3/16"W x 2-3/16"H
  3. The box size for the 15s would be a little over 3 cubes tuned at 33-35hz. For the 10's they get 1.25 cubes each tuned to 34hz. Obviously I have the electrical to power either setups. I would run the T1500-1BDCP @ 2 ohms to the 15 but they said 1700 watts to a 1000rms sub is pushing it. RF told me that my T1000-1BDCP would be a much better match. The birthsheet on the T1000-1BDCP at 2 ohms is right at 1501 watts and I figure probably with box rise and l would get about 1300-1400 watts to the 15. This would go in a Toyota 4-runner
  4. Which will hit harder in my truck? 2 10's ported at 34hz ( RE Audio SEs) running off of a T1500-1BDCP or 1 RF T1 15 running off of a T1000-1BDCP tuned between 33hz and 35hz.
  5. with my tight budget, i can either get brand new bc2000 or used AQ2200. I really want AQ, but can't find one. Are they no longer on stock at the www.audioque.com website?
  6. I am finally going to put them in my truck after 1 1/2 of research.
  7. I have used Freemans in the past and have nothing but good results.
  8. I have been addicted to bass since 1989 just now at a smaller scale.
  9. I like my amps matching as well. Power series is always better, they have thicker heatsinks, 24 db crossovers and deliver a little bit more power.
  10. Who here has used the Rockford Fosgate Power 400a4 from 2000 for their mids and highs? Does the amp overheat? How is the sound quality?
  11. I would buy the JL for $200. That one is a no brainer.
  12. X2, I have a T1500-1BD in my system now. Excellent amp.
  13. Both would be ported. The 10's would be ported at 35hz. The 12 would be ported at 40hz. Looking for more SQL.
