Hi guys. I am wanting to try a pair of DC 15's. My amp is a Sundown 1500. Given this amp, would I be better off with the Level 2s? Seems like a pair of Level 3s would be under powered. I had a pair of first generation level 4s powered by a sundown 2000 a few years ago, and it was brutal. It appears the power requirements are are greater now. Thoughts? (I really don't intend for this to be a vs thread, so my apologies if it seems so.)

I just purchased a d2700 battery for my 2007 tahoe. I originally purchased it to run as an additional battery to put in the back. I was planning on keeing the stock delco battery up front. My amps are sundown, a 2000d and a 125.2. That is roughly 2300 watts. Now that I'm looking at the specs on the 2700, it looks like it would support these amps on it's own. Would it be smarter just to use the d2700 as the only battery to avoid mixing different battery types? Or should I stay with my original plan? The alternator is 160 amps, and I don't plan on adding any more amplifier power.

Hi guys. I have tried searching but haven't found what I'm looking for. Has anyone done a big system in a crew cab truck without doing a blow through?(Not an extended cab). I looking for something with the backseats taken out. I am trying to justify doing this to my Chevy 1500 Crew Cab, but I haven't seen anything really close to my idea. Anybody with any thoughts?
