  7. As far as N8 not liking TechForce, is because of a personal confrontation that happened some time ago and has nothing to do with my business ethics. N8 is entitled to his opinion, just as you and I are... Not once have I cheated anyone or had any issues with anyone that I am aware of. I have ALWAYS sent extra decals or went the extra mile for people... The reason I am not on SMD anymore is because I cannot keep up with all the messages and have not been able to work to my full potential lately. You guys just do not realize how much traffic SMD creates for it's partners! LOL! Trust me, even the decal guy got overrun with business thanks to SMD! I am in financial distress right now because of my medical expenses and the fact I have been missing a lot of work... It has NOTHING to do with ripping people off or my business ethics... If anyone has an issue with me, please contact me @ [email protected], and I will make it right... but out of respect for Steve and SMD, I do not want to solicit on here without being able to afford my SMD Partnership anymore, that would not be fair to Steve... he's got a family to feed also and this is how he makes a living... So, I want to put a stop to all the rumors and trash talk right now... I am over hear minding my own business trying to keep the lights on and I do not bother anybody. I do miss being on SMD and if I had more time and felt better I would be all over the place like I used to... I just don't think it is coo of people to develop opinions on someone's personal feelings towards me... If N8 wants to tell you what happened, I have no problem with that... But, I will leave that his decision... It is just a matter of differences in opinion or a difference on how we do things... nothing to do with my integrity... If ANYONE has a complaint against techforce, please feel free to express it and I will check back to see and work it out with you... PS-If you are going to form your opinion on me and my character over a post that was posted on here while people think my back was turned, then dam... I really do not need your business... do not mean to sound cocky but I am a very honest person and I take heart in that...
  8. Isn't that what batteries do in a multi-battery setup anyway? Again I'm not being condescending, I'm looking for answers with depth, sorry If I'm annoying you with defensive questions. well yeah... BUT... a battery will sustain a lot longer charge to keep voltages up longer
  9. the less ground points you have the better... the more ground points you have the more chances for noise to be introduced into the system
  10. Alpine makes a point, there are uses for caps... but I do not think in his application it will help...
  11. also keep in mind, this will strain the shit out of the alt in your setup, the caps will be steeling from the amps to recharge... A cap is good for if you have lets say a 300 amp alt and only draw 250 amps at full load and you are having voltage drop from the front to the back... but in your case it will prolly hurt you...
  12. well, if you have to have caps, re: you already have them, wire them like you listed... BUT, I would move the caps close to the amps, ground the amps to the cap and ground the cap to the chassis... even a cheap walmart battery would be better than a cap, unless you are seeing some wicked voltage drop....
