  1. E-series arn't suited for 4th orders? obviously whoever says that has no CLUE what they are talking about... #1: The t/s parameters say otherwise #2: I have heard several set ups in person using them in a 4th, and they sound awesome.
  2. This site is called Steve Meade Designs? Shit I thought it meant suck my dick....jk On the other hand purple syrup and his little northstar butt buddies are straight up bitches and plain old ignorant... Please tell me why the hell you would listen to this dude for advice on car audio? Just look at him!! I am glad this idiot got banned, don't need any of this bs on here. Ungrateful bitch. Dude is a chronic bull shitter as well. Anyways looking good Steve, can't wait til it starts taking shape a little bit (: Fuck the haters dude they are just jealous.
  3. Easy peasy bro, I test mine all the time with different subs. To test the tuning (sealed resonance) of the sealed section, just take off your front baffle (if removable like mine is) so that there is no loading whatsoever on the subs forward wave. Your highest impedance will be your sealed resonance. To find the tuning of the port just find the lowest impedance between the two peaks in impedance; same exact concept as finding your tuning in a standard ported enclosure.
  4. I don't quite understand how to do that either legych. I own the same device and the way I connect mine to the amp is through the head unit. I just use a 3.5 mm RCA cable and a double RCA to single RCA cable and tap right into your head units auxillary port. I'd be curious to know the answer to your question also
  5. all of the tracks below 0db shouldn't clip unless your music does :X
  6. just measured my sa-15 from my personal collection. i used a tape measure to obtain center to center of the surrounds diameter of the cone area. i got 12 & 13/16" which equivocates to 12.8125". so pi ((12.8125/2)^2) = 128.93 square inches the standard units they use for sd is square centimeters i believe. there are 6.4516 square centimeters in a square inch so ((128.93)x(6.4516)) = 831.8 square centimeters. hope this helped bud
  7. Gotta be kidding me....look closer dude.....if you notice, the wood only looks like 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick and theres no way that baffle would be alive if it were only 1/2 inch thickSo you admit you don't see the aeroport...besides his enclosure is made of cheap wood... cheap wood doesn't mean nothing if u have enough bracing and double baffle the front.. plus im glad i use cheap wood.. i would hate to keep putting money into make a box.. these are test designs.. when i find the one i like i will use mdf..Yeah you are right, its okay to use plywood (not birch) and particle board and brace with more cheap wood!

  9. Id bet money youll be happy with them in that box And please post pics of design/build pics so we can see the enclosure.
  10. He legitly put a hole in the box as an 8" "aero port"....I doubt his box designing skills... No offense dude but I really wanna see you get good results with your x's...
  11. Has nothing to do with it.....you have 15s, not 12s....and the big difference is that my enclosure was built properly....listen to Dylan....build another box 7-8 cubes tuned to 30hz (slot port) with a bunch of port area and power them properly....please have someone build you a box deign for them too.
