damn i like that idea since you got 16 id put 4 in each front pillar, one in each door and 4 in rear deck, and 2 in each pillar maybe facing the opposite side viewers face so your not 1' away from 4 tweeters in your face.. and maybe 1 of them on each pillar facing the rear seats .. and then the last1 facing out the opposite side of cars window but near the listener.... GET TO GLASSIN SON! or if you got a 2 door put 2 in each front door or one in each door and one on the back armrest shits on each side WTF....... please please do not do this..... 16 tweeters that cost maybe under $50 over $500 of install parts and material???? FAIL!!!!!!! idk where the 500 came from but if ur paying that much to get door panels and pillars done you should find somewhere else. or do it yourself.

found the crossed wire so thats fixed.. but heres a new problem, how come when i put the bass boost on on my cr65 pyramid crossover it makes the sub look like its having a seizure with no sort of BEAT at all its just STRAIGHT BASS tone and it wont shut up iunless you shut the bass boost back off.. it even does it when theres no music and just a damn radio commercial.. anybody know what could do that?

indeed was the problem thanks for the help guys. btw the rcas are brand new and they worked correctly when i plugged my laptop straight to the amp. i just ditched the converter and got a pyramid cr65 i had layin around and through it in and NOW theres no fucking power to it lmao. i ran the 12v wire on it straight from my amp along with the ground and remote on the crossover wired straight to the amp.. and the amp turns on but the crossover. i had it hooked up like 6 months ago and it worked fine its brand new so that will be my project for tomorrow ill pull all my wires that i hid and made all pretty and test that bad boy out.. HOW can i use a multimete and find out what is positive and what is negative when it comes to SPEAKERS WIRE

how can i test which is positive and which is negative with speaker wires.. do i use the 12vdc setting on my multimeter? do speaker wire output 12v to where it will read? how the fuck do i find out what is what

i googled it but all i came up was people with a flashing light and mine was solid so i figured id askk!!!! but i think i figured it out i took the sub out and pulled the box terminals and tightened them cause i noticed they were loose and viola it worked

i hooked a system up for my mom in her whip with a single l7 ported with a orion 2400 amp.. theres no head unit currently and its hooked up through the stock head unit with a speaker wire to rca converter on the rear speakers since the stock unit has no rca outputs... how come ill be by the amp and have both rcas input in the input and it will barely hit like it should, and once i unplug one of the rcas its 3 as loud... maybe because that converter i am using isnt putting out enough volts to the amp maybe? it doesnt make any fucking sense to me. thanks, should i just get a head unit, and a line driver/volt booster thing for her and be done with it?? will that solve this?

HAVE AN ORION 2400 HOOKED UP TO A 12 L7 I JUST SWITCHED TO A PORTED BOX, TURN THE CAR ON AND THERES NO SOUND COMING THROUGH THE AMP AND THE EP INDICATOR LIGHT IS STAYING ON... IVE CHECKED MY 12V GROUND AND REMOTE WIRES AND THEY ARE ALL GOOD... HELP PLEASE... googled it and couldnt come up with anything
