  1. Minneapolis, MN so anything on west WI I'd be willing to make the drive and also the surrounding MPLS area.
  2. I'm lazy and plan on buying another 18" in the near future but i just got my lvl 4 from DC and i'd like to throw it in my truck until i get the next one. Just wondering if anyone has a single 18" ported box. Negotiable on price. Preferably in the 6-7 cubes range and around 35hz. Let me know.
  3. You fit 35s with just a leveling kit? Wow, that's amazing. How wide are they? Looks about 285-ish. Also, same question as ingramcaraudio, any rubbing? I had to double take, I thought it was shopped.
  4. How would one go about doing this? From reading recent posts it looks as though i have plenty of time. DC hasn't got any motors? Or something of that nature.. Edit: Retarded. Didn't read post dates. haha.
  5. Did a little more research. Thanks for the advice. So general rule is to have in the mid-teens^2 inches of port area per cube?
  6. How would i achieve this without highering/lowering the tuning freq. too much? Also, will it effect the tune the further the aero ports are in the box? halfway, all the way in/out?
  7. So I ran some numbers, did some measurements, and this is what i've come up with for a box idea. Not familiar with aero port building, or tuning, so this is going to be an experience. So i've got the general idea, but my main question is, besides some support beams/structures should there be any baffles? or sides kind of half-partitioning the sub from the aero ports? Input with these sort of enclosures would be kind. Thanks!
  8. Didn't see your post. Funny thing is my friend and i were just talking about a blow through not a week ago. But, i Decided that even though she may be over 10 years old. I just couldn't take the sight of cutting into the bed and cab. I'd rather just rattle 'er to pieces! '
  9. Lvl 4 xl's? 2 XL 18s on either a 3.5k or 5k would be quite nice. What is your zip code OP and I will send you over some prices to look at. currently residing in 55316
  10. Yeah I'm pretty set on 18". I want that deep bass I've got about $2k saved up. But I've wanted this for a while so i could possible tap a liiiiittle into the savings
  11. Yeah, it was time. Haha. Well, I'm pretty open at this point. I'm not really looking to upgrade my alt. If im not mistaken I've seen people run 2-3k rms on stock 130amp alts. With big 3 + extra batt(s). But again, Like my original post stated, I've got some knowledge to gain. But some where in there.
  12. So I've lurked for far too long and today broke down and made a SMD account... I've got decent knowledge of car audio, or I'd like to think I do anyways. Have always had the dream of making a 'beat down your block' system. I've had the normal 2x10" type r's, some old 15" MA audio pieces of junk and an even older audiobahn 12". Built a couple boxes which have turned out alright. Recently I've decided to go big. I'm a little confined on space. (Drive a 1999 extended cab f150) But I've measured it all out and if i take out the back seats im working with about 16ft^3. Now, my question is, what do i run? Been looking at some AA havoc 18" and some fi bl 18"s. Not really rolling in money like it seems some of you are but I've saved enough here or there and i think i can finally start piecing together something nice! What would you guys recommend? Also, Working on profile and pic. Will come soon. Glad to be on board! -Travis
