  1. So much love for these guys! Doug helped a whole lot with my system. My Monday evening is not finished if there isn't a new video watched!
  2. and then I set about trying to slap them on. Note the car is on KW V2 Coilovers with the oem 15" steels being used as winter wheels. When I had them fitted, the mechanic at the garage was adement that the Brabus wheels would not fit with the coilovers wound all the way down... but that was the least of my worries at this point... I couldn't even get the jack under the car! Problem? by NeilllP, on Flickr but this was solved with a bit of wood! Solved! by NeilllP, on Flickr and so I worked my way around the car... looking good by NeilllP, on Flickr Haps. by NeilllP, on Flickr last one! by NeilllP, on Flickr the rear is sitting high in the picture, but that was with NO weight in the boot. Pics later with the W7 holding it down quite nicely! after the polish was wiped away, it was time for a good coat of wax! polish off: oh hai new car. by NeilllP, on Flickr wax on: Wax on by NeilllP, on Flickr Wax on by NeilllP, on Flickr I didn't manage to get any pictures after the was was taken off as it was too dark for any decent pictures, however it did rain the next day (sods law i guess!) but it did also mean I had a chance to get some beading pictures! Beading by NeilllP, on Flickr two weeks later (yesterday), the first show/meet of the season for me, and it was well liked by all. It was also the first time since the system had been installed that I had a change to open the doors and get a listen from the outside. For one 10" sub and one pair of components, it was super clean and nice and loud! Oh hai. by NeilllP, on Flickr Thanks for looking!
  3. and the result from just the rear alone. Just the rear! by NeilllP, on Flickr shampoo was rinsed off and then the car was clayed Rinsed after shampoo by NeilllP, on Flickr Clay! by NeilllP, on Flickr Clay! by NeilllP, on Flickr which left the car looking like this: Post clay by NeilllP, on Flickr Dried by NeilllP, on Flickr now for the protection and sealant. First a layer of Super Resin Polish was applied. Dose of Super Resin Polish by NeilllP, on Flickr Dose of Super Resin Polish by NeilllP, on Flickr while the polish was curing, the exhaust was given some attention. before: Dirty Zorst. by NeilllP, on Flickr after: Much better by NeilllP, on Flickr in the time that they polish dired, this then happened... Out of hibernation by NeilllP, on Flickr Hello by NeilllP, on Flickr
  4. Thought I'd post my post winter transformation. It was a fairly quick detail from start fo finish was 6 hours inc all breaks (which were a few to be honest!) Anyways, here are some pics: Before: The effect of winter. by NeilllP, on Flickr The effect of winter. by NeilllP, on Flickr The effect of winter. by NeilllP, on Flickr Given the state of the car, snowfoam was used as a pre-rinse. Snow foam by NeilllP, on Flickr Snow foam by NeilllP, on Flickr Snow foam by NeilllP, on Flickr Snow foam by NeilllP, on Flickr and then washed off. Rinse after the foam by NeilllP, on Flickr Rinse after the foam by NeilllP, on Flickr the fact that the water did not bead at all on the rear should give some indication as to how dirty it really was! Next it was time for some soap! Shampoo application by NeilllP, on Flickr Shampoo application by NeilllP, on Flickr Shampoo application by NeilllP, on Flickr
