  1. Price on 2 12" Level 3's and level 4's Shipped: 48179
  2. Hence that I said "I've done a lot of research" So now I'm indifferent about the L7 and realized how blind I was to other subwoofers out there.
  3. Haha, no problem. Honest mistake. But I think it's pretty good setup, it'll be better than my cvr's and my kicker comps I had. I would say so anyways. just make sure the box is decent, the box can be the difference between a great sounding system and a terrible sounding system (believe me, i've been through my fair share of boxes). but in the right box, they'll be a decent improvement over the kickers Yeah, it'll be a good box for sure. Right now I have a prefab box I'll put them in, yes I know it'll sound bad probably. But i'll get the wood down the road and build a good box for em' for sure.

  5. Yeah, sounds a bit better to me also. I've been looking around for sub woofers for ever and now I finally found ones I like and now I can't pick one. I got this, I hope.
  6. from the things i've heard about em, you'll need much more power than a mere 1000 watts rms. I've got 1 vvx 12 and I'm putting that much power to that 1 sub Maybe I should get a single 15" Havoc?
  7. I plan on getting two 12" AA aresenals and running them on a DX1000.1 at 2 ohms which is 1,000 watts RMS. They are going into a ported box, thoughts, suggestions, ideas. Thanks.
  8. Get a bigger amp. Build a rock solid box. Tuned in.That's out of the question. What? How so?
  9. I'm going to be getting rid of my 2 12" Kicker comps and replacing them with a Fi Q 15" I'm going to be putting them into a custom box. It's going to be running off a DX1000.1 @ 2 ohms (1,036 RMS) Any suggestions or ideas/tips before I go forth with this let me know. Thanks!
  10. I've done a lot of research, don't buy the L7. You can get something a lot louder for a lot cheaper.
  11. So one 15" ssd would probably be better than the 2 12s??
  12. I don't think this would help anything but I have a 1250 watt power acoustik amp. And what amp would you guys suggest? I don't really want to get rid of my amp. I'll probably look into getting different subs.
  13. well you are going to basically give those subs 1/2 the rated power which will work but, if in the future you decide to upgrade the amp to give those subs full power, then you would actually have to find an amp that does around 2000 watts rms at 2 ohms or at 0.5 ohms, its easier and cheaper to find and run an amp at 1 ohm. So if you are gonna upgrade then it's better to get the dual 1's now, only draw back is that you would have to run them at a 4 ohm load with approximately 1/4 rated power each. Maybe these subs aren't the right ones for me then. Getting a new amp is out of the question because I just bought the DX1000.1 about 2 weeks ago. Maybe I should find different subs? That's why I was going to buy another dx1000.1 so they would have complete power.
