I just ordered an SA-8D4 and currently have a punch P300-1 that I'm going to replace with a bigger amp since it won't quite match the RMS of the sub. I'm thinking about a P1000-1bd. Would this amp be too much for this sub? If so is there another amp someone would suggest? I'd prefer RF to keep as much of my equipment in my truck the same as possible. Box will be 1.03 net and tuned to 35 Hz

No, the R simply denotes that the positions of the poles are switched on the batteries. No other differences.

I want to upgrade both batteries in my 2002 F-250 with the powerstroke, I know the D6500 is a direct replacement, but want to go with a D3100. Has anybody put a pair of those under the hood of one of these trucks? If so what modifications if any are necessary to get it to fit?

Well if it's legit 1/0 that should be fine... but if there's already a space where the wires ran then it couldn't hurt to run another one along it. Well, I thought it was 1/0, but just went out to measure it and it's 2 gauge, so that's getting upgraded soon as i order more wire

There's a way to look up on the computer what ipods were synced to it. if he just charged it tho i don't think it'll show up in iTunes it's edit > Preferences > devices tab and it should bring up a list of all devices that were synced to the computer
