You make a great point. I completely forgot about ripping to itunes. That said, how did you resolve your varying signal level issue? I'm in the same boat, although I haven't measured it. My bluetooth audio is noticeably weaker than ipod audio. I'm assuming the best course of action would be to set gains based on the strongest signal, and accept a slightly weaker output when using bluetooth or aux. I was considering switching to a new Kenwood unit...preferably one that is compatible with the lightning connector for the newer ipods and iphones. Thanks for the reply!

Hope this isn't a duplicate thread. I'm considering a DD-1 purchase, but don't currently have a CD player in my car. I have an Alpine iDA-X305S head unit, which is just a media player. If planning to get a DD-1, should I also plan to replace my head unit so I can properly use the discs that come with it?

I recently purchased a DC Audio 175.4 amplifier from Names_jeff. He advertised it as 10/10 mechanical and 10/10 cosmetic. Since mechanical is hard to prove without a video, I asked him to make one and use my name in the video. He quickly obliged. The sale went very smoothly over the phone, using Paypal. Shipment was prompt (via UPS)...he sent it out the next day, insured. Amp arrived today, flawless and intact, and is 10/10 all the way around as advertised. I'd easily buy from him again. Thanks, Jeff!

I'm gonna break all your peanuts in half, grab a bag of popcorn, and watch you count for the next month before realizing what just happened! -

same problem here, and I cant figure out how to do what your talking about I think it means that you can see the content, as long as you actually posted or participated or liked every single post on the forum. If you don't participate in the thread, it's blank. If indeed that's the way to fix my inability to post in certain forums or view users content, I have ALOT of reading and posting to do. Post count, here I come!

When looking at members profiles (trying to find content they posted) it says no content...so same here I guess. I also can't post in the personal fitness section. Is that a post count thing? I'm a pretty new forum member, but figured I'd be able to post words of encouragement in there. I sent it via PM instead.

Here you go, Steve. You wanted to see it dance...it's dancin'! Unfortunately, that also means I need MOAR POWA, but I'll take care of that this summer. Mechman 320 S series alternator and XS Power D3400 (single battery). Thanks to your VM-1, I can now see (in real time) that my voltage holds steady at 15V while driving, at least until I turn the volume up. At idle, in park, it shows around 14.7, with voltage drops to the high 11's when pushing my system. This video was taken while in park. You can kind of see where the car was sitting at idle when the bass drops (voltage drop to 12.something) then rises a bit when I advanced the throttle. Voltage is much better when driving.

This is painful to read. Stand by for the grammar police in 3...2...1...
