  1. I would say it depends on how much power you have going to it. If your going to running close to full RMS power to it youll want to keep the box on tbe smaller side 5 - 5.5 cu ft with whatever ratio you decide for the ported side. If the sub will be used gently make it a bit bigger if you have room 6 - 7.5 cu ft. Just remember that anything done on the sealed side needs to be changed accordingly on the ported side (bigger sealed means bigger ported side of you are trying to hit a specific ratio.
  2. Is that to say when the cord for the bass knob is wiggled at the amp plug? Try to secure it at the amp so the plug cannot move and then wiggle the rest of the harness to see if it still makes noise, will at least narrow down where the issue is. I've had one bass knob that would make noise anytime it was adjusted, it was the potentiometer in the knob itself in my case.
  3. IMHO, more is better. If your going to push it to its max you'll most likely end up with a hotter coil by feeding it 1600-2000 watts at clipping than you would with 2500-3000 of clean power. Either way orient the subs so that it is possible to smell the coils. My .02 RB
  4. 2nd that, 2nd SA 12 allows money saved for 1 sub to be spent elsewhere.
  5. The Zv.4 will accept up to 8ga wire in the supplied spring terminals.
  6. As I get older I start to appreciate SQ more. I have been into car audio for years and for most of it I was a basshead, don't get me wrong I am still somewhat of a basshead but nowadays I like the front stage be able to keep up with the low end. This is the first vehicle that I have installed sound deadening into and all I can say is WOW!. I honestly could tell a big difference with the very first sheet that was installed. I picked up a 30 sqft pack of the B-stock pro, and started on the driver door. I have a 4 door F-350 so I have a long ways to go but when I close my driver door it sure sounds different than the other 3 at this point. One of the best parts about the damping tiles is that its behind a door panel and it doesn't have to be pretty . So far I cant say enough good things about your product. You have a loyal customer for life. RB
  7. When clicking the link for the B-stock pro pack 30sqft it shows the weight at 20 lbs. That seems light for 30sqft even if the thickness is off making it B-stock. Is the weight correct? Thank you RB
  8. Fast easy transaction, super fast shipping, and packaged well enough that it probably would have survived if the plane went down. would absolutely do business with again.
