  1. what i meant when i said, the best part is that it is one ohm stable, i didnt pay barely anything for this amp, and it is hard to find a budget amp that is 1 ohm stable, yeah hifonics and rockford are and whatnot, but they are twice as much. Also, I am going to get the Type RF fixed here soon, but for now, this will do the job, i mean the main reason i bought this amps was because with my set up, i have to run 4 ohms... and this one is 1000 RMS at 4 ohms, which i feel will be quite sufficient for what i have now.
  2. Hey guys i've been out of commission for a few month now and i got my new amp in the mail today, after finding out that my type rf... blew up it was the outputs. So i got new amp havent heard much in the way of it. Its a Sound Storm 2001d and the best part it is one ohm stable, which is something rare to find on a good priced amp. well im installing it tomorrow, so i'll post a video of it in action, i think it is going to do a good job... hopefully.
  3. Sweet, I always had a problem with crimping those, I always ended up smashing the shit out of them, and they still come loose, thanks for the tip steve.
  4. looks real nice man, you know its good when it takes up 75% of the cab lol.
  5. Slammin Cadillac Doors (screwed and chopped) - Baby D
  6. 6000 RMS.. geez and a 900 oz magnet, i bet PMR doesn't supply enough power to them. 6 grand a piece tough yikes.
  7. do they really suck though, or are they giving it no watts to them i dont even have a clue what the RMS is on them, but i would imagine with that kind on surface area they would hit pretty well.
  8. I don't have all that much problem with it vibrating all that bad most of the rattles i took care of. And that port was a nice change lol, it rattles the floor of my house from about 50 feet away in my driveway. BUT im having a problem right now, i have no amp at all it has a direct short in it, im going to try taking it to one of the electric stores around my house that repair electronics to try to fix it, cause rockford wanted a good bit to fix it. So im just hoping for the best. And all this happened the day i bought a new digital cap, and never even got to see it in action. And thanks for the complements, i'll get a new video as soon as i get this amp thing sorted out.
  9. Never would have thought of a PA that way, i bet that thing would hit nice with more power, btw the box looks real nice.
  10. I also didn't mention that i added a double baffle, so now all the flex of the box is gone.
  11. hah, funny you asked that... the reason i don't is because its such a tight squeeze into my trunk that they wouldn't fit if they were on there, although i could always put them on when the box is in there. Well they also match my car also, cause that color is almost exactly the same as my paint. Thanks for the comment!
  12. kinda sucks about that... but thats what i get. Anyhow guys, i got everything done on the box, persision port is in tuned to 32hz and also shes carpeted, nice looking box im proud of it. and it knocks. let me know what you think of the job.
  13. Acually they are P215S8's idk if i can get them any lower then 4 ohms
