I had to notch the acrylic in this spot instead of a nice clean hole...because the pump is hard wired into the wall. Believe it or not, it runs on 220v LOL I guess i could have done it with the router when it was on the table but ummm i am a rookie and forgot to add the holes I probably should have done a drain as well. If i ever sell these, it will be better! for now, it just needs to work and NOT be a bucket. LOL

There is currently not a DC 12" frame. One could possibly be custom built using the TC frame that the Level 5 12s are built with. Only thing with the Level 6 as a 12", it would have to be inverted since the motor would be wider than the basket cutout. If this is something you want to do, send me a message and I will help make it happen.

i was just thinking the same thing...it is a GREAT time to be alive. But i wonder if our great great grandfathers thought the same thing when like someone invented the radio....or a car for that matter. Although shitty by today's standards, how fucking awesome would it have felt to get in a car and drive 15mph when you have been walking or riding a mule. And you can take your family with you. How about the first people that got to see a television.......like OMG what a great time to be alive! i am just glad we are having fun i just wonder what will be left for our great grandson's.

there are a few out few people have made them work few people have destroyed them not saying it cant be done however an xl 12 will be louder and take more abuse if cody wants to try and get you parts thats on him just know there will be no warranty and it is not a good idea......matter of fact go on facebook and ask rusty for one see what the owner has to say about it

It's been done before and like 88 said, the results weren't what you'd expect. If you want a sweet 12 that will work mechanically try using a sp4 12. I have a feeling you might be in for a headache of you make those 12 inch level 6s Level 6 is a turd anyway,...imho. cut its legs out from it, meh. So you want the level 6 motor (that isnt all that) on a smaller basket, smaller coil, smaller spider? sounds like a win. it wouldnt be a smaller coil or smaller spider but there is a reason lv6 12s arent made.... they dont fucking work

Good luck getting enough spider to allow any excursion. I know you look to have changed your mind a bit which is a good thing.Just a quick FYI, the Level 6 coil is 3.5" in diameter. It doesn't leave you with much meat on a typical 9.25" spider. The new 6 spoke basket that Fi/Crossfire came out with will accommodate a 10" spider. Look for the Crossfire XSv2 12" in a blowthrough in the near future.

They don't make a 4" coil Team 12" sub, that's how.

This is an old thread but, since this is my first post I might as well post in the introductions thread . I am currently rediscovering car audio. I have much to learn . I discovered Steve and this forum while researching my current component lineup. I am intrested in building a very loud,very clear and, sonicly accurate system . I've got a good start going . As soon as I find the appropriate thread , I'll list my current gear and , seek direction regarding the best next step . Thanks , Chris
