  1. Well here ya go. And i forgot to mention, this is his first time on a meter. We never used any test tones as his head unit does not have a cd player. His ipad mini doesn't have tones on it yet. This is purely for fun, we used music.

  2. he probably has more in the kick if we tried more stuff...including sealing up the rear "flappers" (the D pillars have air vent things) letting precious DB's out haha...

  3. today, after we got our work done, we decided to play with the TermLab a little bit. I really feel like Antheny's yukon is at least a 150 on the meter but i know EVERYONE thinks they are doing a 150....till the termlab breaks their heart. It's happened to the best of us i think haha! It does hit with some pretty serious authority for just being 2 12" subwoofers. To me it has the sound and authority of a pair of 18's I know the cone area to cabin area ratio is not going to be db meter friendly. The box is below the window line, sub up, port back (for those that didn't follow this thread). He is on 2 Rockford Fosgate T2500.1bdcp amplifiers. The Pride 12's are rated at 5,000w RMS each (iirc). They are a bit under powered. He has one Mechman 370a Elite Series alternator. He has 1 XS Power D3400 up front and (2) XP3000 in the back by the amps. The box is tuned to 34hz and drops to the depths of hell with no problem. So this box is very musical. Time to plug in the TL and see what we get. Remember, before you judge it, it is a large vehicle with 2 12" subs, designed to play music. It is not a CRX tuned for SPL. We are well aware the numbers a little car can do are much bigger. If anyone has a Yukon or Tahoe of this year, you know the struggle. Most people will not reach even close to a 150 on 2 12" subs. So wish him luck! I will report back and post a video with the results in a few.

  4. that does not seem right at all even for a pcm controlled car. Are you sure your alternator is working properly? Can you measure voltage at the alt?

  5. Here are the dd-1 tones I use along with my own personal suggestion. Keep in mind this is only my preference based on my experience. Your individual needs may vary https://www.dropbox.com/s/95ldtt7npyce07r/Snow's DD-1 Tracks.zip
