Sure am, that one in the picture is actually a box but I'm usually in one of the new chevy vans actually lol. Much rather have a box for the extra room, and it's easier to get people the move out of the way in one. That picture was taken on a day when they came to get my van for an oil change... I walked outside to see what they dropped me off, to see the valance hanging on the ground like wtf. BUT BUT BUT - My wheels did look clean for once that day sitting to the right lol.

Thankfully we have been switching to mercedes sprinters which arent bad for bls. We have three mercedes sprinter chassis boxes on the way which are fucking nice. Ill throw some pics up in a minute.
I've never seen those mercedes boxes before, interesting look. There's a lot of the the sprinter vans running around this area, people do have mixed feelings over them that i've talked to though. A lot of people like them because they say there's enough height to stand up in the back, and then due to that they say that they're very top heavy and bad handling. Do you like them?

i contacted mechman a little while ago, unfortunately they can't make a direct fit for my car.. but i did find someone who can, and the most he can make is 200amps for about 420$ .. think ill have to do that..
btw... i can get my alt rebuilt at a shop around my way, tell them to beef it up. and its pretty affordable. is it the same thing as getting a music alt?
What year/make/model is your car? And no, local shops are not the same as Mechman, DC, Singer, or Ohio Gen.

Definitely do that alternator first, the odds are that alone will be plenty enough to run this hifonics 2500 you're using for now and give you freedom to save some cash for more upgrades on everything.

You started this thread with the plan to get 2 of either level 3/4 12's, and then from lack of cash you decided on one 12/15. From that point, you said you weren't sure if you could fit a 15, how did you ever plan on fitting 2 12's if you can't fit one 15?

So from what I can tell...
"Skax" scammed/stole money from somebody through the sale of an amp, and once he got put on blast online for all to see... he then had a "change of heart" and returned the cash?
Meanwhile, as that's happening he had a completely separate deal going with the OP here who found out about the scam Scax was doing on FB, and Skax paid for OP's services and OP seen the scam on FB and now we're at a crossroads of OP returning Skax's money to him?
Honestly, If I was in the OP shoes I can see why he shouldn't refund any money to skax... NOR CAN HE, as Skax has put a claim on him already in Paypal (Which he will lose because cash was sent via gift anyway). But it's very clear that Skax is a POS and had every intention of stealing from the person on FB until he got busted out on it. Why give him the money back? Give him karma instead as he deserves. The odds are, he's just going to go and steal from someone else unsuspecting anyway under a completely new fake name and FB account.
Side note - Obviously OP and Skax live in the same area/have met in person. Why was this not settled in person?

This is extremely hard to follow, the posts from both parties involved are very hard to understand. You guys really need to try to proof read what you're typing before posting so it's a little more clear and understandable. Both of you should try to explain your sides of the situation from start to finish, in a clear way. It's hard to tell if it is one big misunderstanding, or if one of you are trying to run a scam, or just slander.

I mean, If my friend comes over with his pendrive and the music he wants to show me is at 0 db , if I set my gains at -5 db, i will be clipping at my maximum volume?

No Sir. Music is not made of 0db waves. Read up on gains and tuning tutorials and it'll explain things in detail for you. Here's a good link to get you started.

You probably set it with a -10db tone or so, and then you're playing amplified/boosted/ music which would put you into clipping. You should set your gains with your head unit turned up to it's maximum undistorted level, not a middle of the range level that you pick. Do you have your bass boost turned off and your head unit settings flat also?
PS - To answer your question, a clean signal set with 40hz tone will also be clean when running a 20, 25, 30, etc through it as long as it is not amplified further than the 40hz that you set it with is. Example would be, setting with a 40hz -7.5 tone, any other tone you through through it will also be clean at -7.5. Now, if you put a 0db tone you can be pushed into clipping.
