  1. Haha, not even planned like that. That's my routine when I get in the house at 2am. Take my stuff off there and toss the dirty uniform down the laundry chute. My wife put the boxes there knowing I'd see them. If I were gonna stage the pic I'd a put my star front and center!!! lol
  2. Nothing to wild about it. Typical 3rd gen s&w semi auto. Reliable, durable. What makes this one a bit of an odd ball was the short production run and it is one of the very few models that has a frame mounted decocker. Nothing that will put the kids through college but it is a very good gun. Enjoy it!
  3. You sir are a gentleman and a scholar! I'm not sure if you John Hancock all your products but I dId request it and you came through! So either way THANKS!
  4. SMDCP15 Thanks man! Order was placed for the combo about an hour ago. Tried to send you a PM to give some appreciation but noticed you turned that off. lol Thanks again and if you wanna tag em both with your signature by all means feel free!!!
  5. 1) Any idea on price point? 2) time line for market release 3) Will there be a triple pack? (wondering if I should wait in ordering the DD/CC-1 combo) 4) You realeaed teh VU Meters, the Amp dyno is in the works.... You let the cat outta the bag on the DD-1 HV.... Whats's next?!
  6. They make 4 gauge to 8 gauge adapters now!!!!!!!!???????????!!!!!!! LOL Thanks for the link, i was checking that out when I fisrst logged on last week but didnt watch the vid. Well worth the 9 minutes! Seems you guys are right and I just need to do it. Nothing stopping me since I already have the 0 gauge.
  7. Your right, odds are I wont sit back and just leave teh system alone. I'll be messing with it for one thing or another. That or just testing stuff all the time. And as far as running everything once, your right on that too. I'm pulling all the carpet out and getting to frame, so now would be as good a time as any. AND I already got 20 ft of 0, I will just buy more when I do up teh 2nd car. Sometimes just seeing someone else type it makes teh worl of difference! Any idea on teh voltage gains with teh big 3?
  8. 98 Cavalier 105amp stock alt Stock wiring Going in: Punch 4080 mids and highs (50amp draw) Power 500M Subs ( 60 amp draw) 4 gauge should handle the current load to the back of the car with no problem, it's only a 17ft run. I just want to run by some of you guys cause af some of you may know I've been outta the game for a while but this basic electrical should still be the same. Any advantage to going straight 0 all teh way back other than flexibility if I add more amps? Other wise I'm thinking 4 gauge to a dist block and 3 8 gauge runs to the amps. One run with a 50 amp fue to the 4080 and two runs with two 30 amp fuses to teh 500m. Also, the big three worth it here? Simple math says ya, especialy since these are unregulated amps. What are the typical, does that word even exist in car audio?, results? 2 Volts? TIA! And don't kill the old timer

  17. Taken straight from the add: Hornady Manufacturing is offering a unique Zombie Max™ Ammo Plant for auction with all proceeds benefiting the USA Shooting Team competing in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. It's a charity auction straight from Hornady to help support the Olympic Athletes.
  18. Just trying to be usefull around these parts so I figured I'd post up just in case anyone ever wondered. Main thing is in the Hammer shelf and sear. The height and angle of these are critical as they determine the majority of teh trigger pull. Along with this is the fact that if they are not cut properly ( to short or wrong angle) they create a very dangerous gun Without the proper fixtures it is just not possible to get this done. Once the two areas are prepped you can then begin to tune your leaf spring and main spring to give you the end weight you are looking for. These few lines dont even begin to give yoall taht goes into a trigget job but does give you enough to know that somneone can wreck a good gun real easy if they dont knwo what they are doing. Stay safe
  19. I have a 1997 Cavalier that I use to go back and forth to work with and plenty of gear so I figured I'd start a build. Fosgate EPX2 Fosgate 500m Fosgate 4080 Kicker Solo 15's ( the old round ones) Boston Pro Series 4.5 in teh doors Boston Pro Series 5.25 in the rears. Alpine 7987 ( only cause my 7949 doesnt play burnt cd's) It's a work in progress, we'll see how long it takes. I didnt want to mount the x-overs so I just placed them in the door pocket. Cant be seen when the seat is back The Alpine is playing the exisiting factory speakers. Like I said, I'm doin this slow as I have time.
