  1. Anyone know where the fuel line leads go after they leave the filter and go to the engine on a 2002 tahoe? i think my lines may be clogged and i cant jack up my truck to find the lead and if i can just figure out where it comes out to the engine it would be a big help

The pumps are not hard to change, just a couple bolts to undo the tank straps and you can angle the tank down enough to get in there and swap it out.

Did it in my buddies 02 yukon xl in the middle of winter. Pro tip hopefully your tank is at least half empty or less..

You should easily be able to trace the fuel lines under the hood, pop off the plastic engine cover if yours has it. They are usually aluminum but sometimes black rubber hose. There should be a shredder valve you can depress and see if gas is squirting out (make sure its the right valve, and not the ac ones). If gas squirts out with the key on while there is pressure from the pump you can pretty much rule the pump out.

i checked the valve already and it doesnt have a lot of pressure at all but when i took the filter off and did it a shit load sprayed out where it connected to the filter

check your fuel pressure regulator on the rail

they have a small screen on them that could be clogged up with  debris that and these models had issues with them
