  1. Sometimes when I post from my surface tablet and hit the POST button, I see something at the top of the screen and it looks like nothing happened. I have mistakenly hit POST again only to find out that it worked the first time and now is a double post. Like the page does not refresh when I hit the button. Hitting the LIKE button is the same way.
  2. 3 amps might have more head room than a single amp due to the total available power supply sections in the amps would probably be more than a single big amp. You might get more responses by posting this in the general amp section.
  3. I wonder if there are any other amps that run this board?
  4. Some guys bang them until they can smell them. I have smelled my HDC315s a few times. I have learned how to keep them in the "safe zone" so maybe they won't die any time soon. Can't wait to see your build! I would love to do a wall. Maybe some day.
  5. You rock Steve! We love your videos! What is the name of the song in that vid?
  6. Generally a bigger box will give more output than a smaller one. If you are within their recommendations then you should be good. What frequency will your port be tuned to?
  7. What is the volume when you subtract port volume and driver displacement?
  8. Its great to see the best high end audio being made in America! It would be cool if you could put made in U.S.A. on it somewhere!
  9. The charger you would only have to buy once and would be cheap insurance on expensive batteries. Maybe you could sell your other charger to help offset cost.
  10. I just ran out to the garage and snapped some pics. This is the charger I have. I ordered it from Northern Tool. Load tester for starting duty. Might give you an idea of condition. I think they are around $40 - $60 bucks. Should be available at auto parts store. If these batteries were open cell, the electrolyte in each cell could be checked to verify the balance between cells.
  11. So how are you going to take it to the shop with no alt? Put it on a trailer?
  12. Maybe you could test it like a starting battery. Put it in the truck for a starting battery and measure voltage while cranking. It should not go below 9 volts for starting duty.
  13. They might be a little hurt. I would go ahead and run them but that's just me. The rate of sulphation goes up as the voltage goes down. Is your charger one of those desulphation / pulse types? I use one to help failing batteries and it will keep them going longer. Anytime a battery is sitting for more than a week it should be put on trickle to fight sulphation. Even when your new battery is sitting at the store, the clock is ticking. Anyone know how to read the date codes on these? If you buy from a store you can pick the newest ones.
  14. I was thinking of a dual mono setup with two P200.2 with one bridged on the left and one bridged on the right. Then I thought "I wonder what the stereo separation is on my EQ?". So I need dual mono EQs? Dual mono head units? (tuned to the same radio station LOL!) I don't know if its just the high power stages or if every pre amp along the way has an issue. Maybe just separate things enough to not be worse than the source recording?
  15. Looks great! I will be getting two of the two post. Will the hardware be available in brass as an option? Also what screws do you recommend to fasten to the box?
