Good build I’m just curious to why you chose 8’s when you clearly have room for bigger subs, not ripping you I’m running 4 8’s right now but only cause I have no room.

I ran 3 Sundown SA-10’s rated at 600RMS at 3K but my electrical was good 260AMP ALT and 6 batteries, Subs took it for 5 years never any issues, Subs still pounding now my buddy has them , It’s all about your electrical only about a third of the people on here understand that clean power won’t blow your subs. When your voltage goes down current goes up and current causes heat and distortion which makes subs and Amps smoke. That’s the number 1 thing to know for all electrical.

Korean built amps have been the best for awhile now , Sundown Salt , Skar SK, American Bass VFL, DD, there’s more , right now the Brazilian Amp thing is hot , not a big fan but can work for some people. I’ve tried it but you need to really know what your doing to tune them.

I would choose B2 over any basic over the counter manufacture like Kicker , JL or whatever you can buy from Walmart , They are from Denmark so not very popular but good quality, still a lot of other options too, Skar, Sundown, DD , Rockford ,DC, Incriminator and many more if it’s just white you want a lot of marine amps are white and are the same.

I don’t want any money but that piece looks like it goes with the air vent that’s in there rear quarter panel. The vent would be on the body and they normally vent out behind the bumper cover , that flap can help keep debris and water out. They are there to depressurize the cabin.

I work on Tesla’s and besides the price they are awesome to drive but the biggest complaint is they list 300-400 miles per charge but because they are so fast and fun to drive you average about 120-180 per charge . These things are fast , I’m not sold on electric cars till I see 1k miles per charge and between 25-35k in price for base model. For me I always pictured electric cars with a motor on each wheel like on the back of the hub so no axles needed and no wiring all fly by wire , but I think we are pretty far from that a lot of stuff is fly by wire now but no enough still to many wires .

Great topic , you should also include JL Loc 22 and the LC2I more name brand line outputs . I get your selling yours but would be nice to know what I’ve been running for years.

I’m not bitching just Jelly , built my last custom door pods from scratch but I know you’ve done 100’s like me , If you got the equipment use it that’s the game love it make it 1 of 1 that’s what I do with all my cars. Made a custom grill on my wife’s SUV just to make it different and my cars always different.Hate to pull up to a red light and some D Bag has the same ride as me , always make changes to make sure that doesn’t happen. Great work like always Steve.

Very impressed with how it turned out, but why know SMD on that empty battery box from XS, that’s your design put your name on it. LOL , great work you deserve more credit for that design.

Most 12-15-18 RMS ratings on good subs are the same and underrated, as far as choice you won’t be disappointed in either , pic whatever ones you like. Those are 2 great brands.

I don’t think you would notice a difference if using the same amp for both but 2 10’s has bigger cone area. That’s just my 2 cents both are great subs.
-
I would buy another SA , they can handle a lot and U already have 1.

DD makes some of the best subs around, they are however a lot more pricey but U get what U pay for.

Steve sells Skar on this site

That would be a poor business decision, I can name about 7-10 shit brands they should stop selling.

You should be able to handle up to 150amps on 4 gauge but I’d limit it to 120amps , if it cannot handle that you need 1-0gauge

When I ran 5k had a 250Amp ALT , 2 runs of 0 gauge to the 5 rear batteries , but I also ran at .6 Ohms , you need way more electrical.
