I have a Skar EVL 15" 1250 rms watts 2500 watts peak. I have a rockville DB16 8000 watt peak, 4000 rms. Had someone help me hook it up, We had the negative connected while we hooked up the positive. I plugged in my rca caples and I heard the connection noise from the amp when you connect the cable. I don't recall if the green power light came on or if it was protect light. when i turn the car on, it goes straight into protect light. I havn't got to use the amp/sub yet. Did I blow the amp?? Subs good still. Amp goes protection light, and Rockville is lit up in blue leds. Is this a connection problem? It came with 2 fuzes, a 230 and a 250, I have the 250 connected, Do I need a fuze connected to a wire/cable in the hood? is that what the 2nd fuze is for? 2nd fuze is being unused.

INSTALLATION BASICS: Before you begin with your installation, disconnect the NEGATIVE (-) terminal from your car’s battery. This safety precaution will avoid possible short circuits while wiring your amplifier. Rockville amplifiers operate on 12-volt negative ground systems only. Does this mean its blown then?

Got it out of protect light, all the settings were turned up. Now not getting any sound from any of my subs

should start a thread in the amlifier section would work a lot better than using a status update.
