I guess you could install your current box subs / port up in the trunk of your equinox and see how it goes.
Now being in a SUV (larger cabin) calls for larger subs just to try to be as loud as before, say 2 15s subs up port back (2 sa15s for example if you don't want to upgrade power) . that would be ideal, I wouldn't bother to build a new box for 2 12s.
I wanna upgrade power eventually trying to buy a house first tho was just gonna see what would work till then so even tho my port and subs are the same way I should try and face them up shitty part about that is my smd terminal is on the back so there's a big hole back there

Alright so I made this box I have for the dodge charger but now I have a chevy equinox what would be the best kind off box to build

Man that is some solid advise! Thank you. I did try the Duracell battery and got the signal light to light up. Still no 40hz detect or distortion light, but a step in the right direction. I will try changing around the inputs and setting it like you mentioned. Will keep you updated. Thank you.
Are you tapped in before or after the factory amp

Sounds like a coil problem or a loose spider. Then again maybe it’s a board of the box rattling you have bracing?
Exactly what I was gonna say press on the sub and see if you can hear scratching or any noise that it's not supposed to make

I'm not sure but when I did mine with the dd-1+ when I switched over to overlap I was at +2 db to begin with I even watched the multimeter to make sure I was in the right voltage area 2

It's cause your going up past the point of clipping on the gain before you hit read and change track slowly go back down to before clipping then go back up to the point of distortion then hit read and change track

Possible. I have not noticed any lights dimming or such though.
Could be something wrong in the amp 2

Electrical problem your Electrical might not be able to handle what it's drawing that will cause clipping 2

My subsonic is set at 31 hz my box is tuned to 32 but my amp has a 12 db octave and you can find those tracks for the dd-1 that you can download I have mine downloaded

Light staying yellow on 1000D
That's cause your gain is to high or your electrical can't handle the power

Question have a jl audio rd 1500 amp and 2 jl 13w3v3-2ohm subs. The subs are 600rms . question is i came across another 13w3 but is 4 ohm. Would it be bad to run 2 svc 2ohm subs with a 4ohm svc sub together on a mono amp? Dont wanna muff up 800$ amp or 1200 worth of speakers
It's not recommended to wire different ohm speakers together

Umm cause I tried doing it and I used the 31hz track but it kept telling me to go up and it's closer to all the way up not 31hz more like 1khz

Damn lol. Hopefully you didn't cook them. If you had a HPF for them on your head unit, I would have just set that. Or took the door panel off and disconnected them at the speaker
It should be good lol I'll find out here in a little bit now the hard part is figuring out how to set the subsonic with the cc-1
