  1. Would not surprise me if it is all just a "myth." But interesting none the less. Where are the myth busters when needed?
  2. Yeah you should hook your computer up to it for your stereo system on the desk top!
  3. My very first set up I did....but that was ages ago, and have never since. But I think that is all just a personal preference. Probably doesn't effect the amp much, but don't want to go through the hassle of replacing/fixing anything if it does.
  4. I am by no means an expert...but it was explained to me once like if your bending a spoon (the soldered parts being the spoon)...eventually the more you bend the spoon back and forth the metal finally just gives out and breaks. Same with the solder. Whether or not this is the truth I don't know...but kind of makes sense.
  5. Damn....I never saw any of the spin offs...would have been interesting! I know MSNBC plays re-runs now and again of them.
  6. I hear that. I would loose about 50 miles per tank with the 22's on. But I think they look good with some nice rims on them.
  7. Damn....interesting to know. Bonus-one less pedophile in the world though!
  8. x2! What happened to that show? Best part was watching the dude stumble to come up with a reason as to why he was there....... Predator: "I wasn't going to do anything I swear!" Chris Hanson: "Why do you have a box of condoms, Zima, and chocolate in your pocket?"
  9. I had a bunch of issues with my 98 Jimmy when I put the 22's on it and messed up 2 transmission, but I still really liked the truck. They are a decent small SUV when snows on the ground too!
  10. If my memory serves me correctly it turns off his sub amps so he when he is listening to talk radio they aren't on.
  11. In all reality $400-500 isn't bad at all if you know they are doing quality work. but for the $400-500 you would spend on that why don't you just buy the tools you need to do it and give it a try. In the long run will save you money instead of paying someone else to do it time and time again. Just a thought though.
  12. They ran a big story here locally in MPLS about telling people not to give to them because 95% of them are scammers...they even interviewed one of them who was actually a very legit business man making 100K plus a year, but he did it becuase he was making an extra 500-1,200 a week that didn't get taxed from standing out there!
  13. Reminds me of not too long ago when two kids tried robbing a store and spray painted their faces black....later on they were both admitted to the hospital for inhilation related issues.
  14. I was actually going to say you may have better luck selling the design....but best of luck with it. Hopefully it works out for you.
  15. It's patent. Not sure if you have looked into patent's completely yet or not, but I should let you know from personal experiences at work patents are not cheap. They usually run around $25,000 and that only secures them for 20 yrs here in the USA. If you want to branch out it will become $25,000 for every country, and a renewal fee....they aren't cheap, but well worth it! I am well aware of the process due to working in R & D for a food company. Currently I have 1 International patent, 2 US patents, and 3 pending.
  16. I am using the knukonceptz Kolossus Fleks for my hydraulic system running 72 volts thorugh it without any issues. Great stuff! And looks much better on my set up than welding cable.
  17. I am looking for a bass knob/wire for the chrome 250.2 I am going to be using in my set up. If anyone has one laying around they are willing to part with for cheap that would be great. I prefer new...but slightly used will do. The ones that go with this amp: If you have one drop me a pm.....rarely get a chance to check this site anymore. Thanks.
  18. All about supply and demand, and knowing your market! I personally don't think I could live there because I like "city" life....but it is a decent drive through there when I fly through. If you ever want some interior work done let me know. I can get you in contact with the guy I work with....great prices too!
  19. I fly in and out of fayettville very frequently for work. Where abouts are you opening your shop? The guy I have do my interior work....who does phenominal work IMO is based out of Rogers, AR.
