went and checked it cold now after engines been off for 45minutes. 16 with engine off 18 with engine on. the other reading was warm

Another thing to think about is its 20 degrees out doesnt that cause voltage to be higher then usual

Id love to be able to do that but i need vehicle for work. And thats a 150 install plus uninstall then reinstalling new alt again. This is gonna cost some dough i dont have.

My new battery reads 14.4 with engine off with it running 16.15 stable with heater on max and radio. This is after running 30minutes. It this safe on a 12 volt system or what? This is my daily ride. Battery is a D4800 XS Power and a Mechman 270xp vehicle is Ford Escape XLT 2.3 lr 4 cyl
