I, also, get asked occasionally what's different about tattooing now versus 5-10-15 years ago. My answer is almost always the same, two things: the market is over saturated (too many artists) and no loyalty to artists anymore! People are so damn fickle! They'll drop you to go get tattooed by some POS "artist" just because they're $20 cheaper. Loyalty is dying daily and that's the saddest part of it all. Tattooing used to be all about loyalty and respect!!

real good friend of mine has his own shop, hes been tattooing for 20 years, 3out of 4 of my tattoos are from him, my first one was done by someone else, its was like night and day in being prepared, artwork,the care he took and overall profesional work inviroment.

Not true, quality is always first on my mind. That isnt worth 20 bucks cheaper.

i have my artist i will go too. he is 3 hours away but he is worth it for me.
