  1. Can someone tell me how much space there is in the back of an '03 Blazer? I am almost positive I am getting one soon, and just want a general idea of how much space I have to play with. And, just thought I would share the whole car... 2003 Blazer 4 door $5500 130k Miles 4wd White ext, black int One owner VERY well kept up Only damage is nicks in the paint from rocks Anyway, I went and saw it, but didn't really pay attention to how much room there was in the back, and its about an hour drive and don't feel like going back just measure it...
  2. My dad has read over the program many times, and it seems the only "catch" is that they crush your car. To some, thats not good. My dad bought out '89 Silverado brand new off the lot, and he doesn't want to sell it, knowing it will be immediately crushed. But he also DOES want to sell it because our best mpg car is a Suburban that's getting an average of 15 now... edit Oh yeah. If the car is like 3 mpg better than what your selling, you get $3500, and if its 10mpg better (I think....) you get the full $4500, and it has to be towards a NEW car. However, some dealers are allowing peope to use the $4500 to a used car, as long as it is better mpg than the car being sold. The car being sold had to have 19 mpg average on the STICKER when bought, not what it gets now.

  4. Yeah man! Trav is beast! Volume 1 stays in heavy rotation in my room.
  5. Yeahhh, I remember when they released Volume 1 a while ago. The second one (Coachella) was actually recorded live.
  6. It seems to me like its missing something. But I don't know what. But its good! Props on it man!
  7. Oh man, never thought I would see a thread about this on here. I LOVE these guys (no homo) I have pretty much all there cds, and if you guys want to know some songs with pretty good bass: Flame - Who Can Pluck Us? Messenja - Heaven N Ya Speakers I have tons other artists if you guys want some suggestions
  8. Oh really? My bad. I feel like a dumbass... haha. I emailed him already, so I guess he'll tell me again. Thanks again!
  9. Ahh ok, I'm just not 100% sure I'm even getting DC subs, I just wanted kind of a ballpark figure for each. Thanks anyway
  10. I've been looking for prices on DC subs, and just can't find them. Sorry, if I'm not looking hard enough, could you please post a link? Anyway, I'm still deciding between Level 1s or 2s. So, I just want the prices for a Level 1, a Level 2, and a ballpark figure for a simple custom dustcap (no intricate design, just a simple recolor) Thanks in advance! add damn, sorry, I would like prices for both 12" and 15" of both level 1 and 2.
  11. Just wondering, if I were to order subs from DC, and wanted custom dust caps, would I have to order them separately? Or could I order them both through DC, and get them pre-installed?
  12. I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS4. And just saying this for meade, there is a way that you are allowed to use copyright material. If you are doing it purely non-profit (which I assume you are), just use it in your video, and upload it, and if the audio is taken out, follow these steps: 1) Go to "My Videos". 2) Select "Resolve Copyright" on the video you are having copyright issues with. OR, go to the video itself and choose "resolve copyright" from there. 3) Scroll down and pick the option "I want to learn more about this dispute process". 4) Scroll down and pick the option "Take me to the dispute form". 5) Pick option #2 and PASTE the following statement into the text bar next to it; "I have followed the copyright law correctly, its non-profit and the songs are credited." or "Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use." 6) Fill out the rest of the info on the page. Use your YouTube name where it asks for it. Choose "Continue" when all information has been filled out. 7) Scroll down on the next page and select "Submit dispute". Copy and pasted from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTjD8f9yg-w NOTE: Some people are saying this doesn't always work, but as long as it is music you purchased (or is possible TO purchase, meaning its not some leaked unreleased stuff) it SHOULD work.
  13. Is it just me, or does the back right headrest screen look like it has a different aspect ratio?
  14. Leftover pizza and Red Bull. (The Red Bull isn't leftover...)
  15. Actually let me fix that. The situation I described happens when the item is sent back the manufacturer for repair. Can't guarantee anything like that on eBay.
  16. No, refurbished is when something is broken, and someone fixes it and sells it. most of the time, its better to buy refurbished. It's cheaper, and is personally tested and guaranteed working. But, new stuff is made in a batch, and only one item per batch is tested. If the item they test works, the whole batch passes. The only down side to refurb stuff is cosmetic damage.
  17. No ones to tell me if that headunits any good? Or encourage me? Haha whatever. It turns out I won't be driving this... Dad plans to turn this p.o.s. for the "Cash for Clunkers" government deal going on. So, we're using the $3,500 (or $4,500, whatever we get for it) to go towards a new Impala for mom, and then getting a cheap starter car for me. So, I'll be doing a more long-term build in the car that is for me, since I will be paying them back for it at some point. Glad I didn't start anything on this truck yet. Anyone know if I could get any money for the HU in this? It's a sony Xplod something, with just the standard AM/FM and CD player...
  18. Oh dang, I forgot the reply to this, I was at Kings Dominion all day. @thehoe92 I still forgot to check on the Bose system, but I'm 99% sure its not Bose. @troy I already said what I want to with it. Just give it a little bit of a kick, without having something too expensive. It doesn't need to be loud at all, just something to put a little bump in it.
  19. Wow, to be honest, I never even saw that Alpine you suggested. I may have to look into that, that's cheap. And honestly I'm not sure about the Bose speakers right now. Mom is out right now, I'll check in the morning. I know one of our cars has the Bose speakers, but I believe its my dad's '03 Silverado. I could be wrong though. Ahaa, to the comment about 6 18", that will have to wait until the burb is mine. I think my parents are going to give it to me at some point, but it won't be anytime soon. It will be after they buy a new car for mom (looking at some new Monte Carlos, Impalas, or Civics. blehh on the Civic, I want a Chevy... lol) edit- If I do end up getting a new HU, I'll end up spending a little extra money to get the Alpine 9886 instead of the 9884, just because it has the iPod control, as well as an extra USB slot, which I would use alot.
  20. If you don't mind me asking, how do you install one of those? If it's too much to explain right now, that's fine. I have a feeling once I actually get it and the amp and subs and what not, it will look a little easier. But I would like to know how to do it in advance.
  21. Is this what you are talking about? http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?...uct_id=10756155 Also, thanks for your help so far! edit- Sorry, that was to brsteinbach. Budget isn't really too much of a problem, I just don't want to spend too much. Honestly, I don't even know a ball park figure to throw, I just don't really want "top of the line" stuff. Just something that will sound good, and can get decently loud. I only plan on getting 1 sub, but if the price difference isn't too much, I might go with 2.
  22. I'll be honest with you, I'm a complete noob when it comes to anything with this. All I know is, I want some bass... Haha. I really want to learn what I can... So, what is rms, and how do you "tune" a box? I know, complete noob here, but whatever, I want to learn. Also, when installing, I won't be going alone. My brother knows alot about this stuff, but he moved out about a month ago, so I don't see him that much anymore. I'll get him to teach me to install and whatever. And, you never answered the one question, it is absolutely necessary to get a new HU?
