yeah all new brakes front and back on my 00 mountaineer now in need of some good all weather tires that can handle the extra weight. Thinking Michelin DEFENDER LTX M/S - SIZE: 235/75R15 what u guys think? Think I have 1000-1000+ pounds in trunk with wall batts amps etc.

Noob question. There is a blue/white “remote turn on” on both harnesses. Im not supposed to connect thise two together right? I can use them as individual turn on sources?

Way better than techflex, it does not expand like techflex, so if you get 1/8" it will be tough to get it on a 1/8" wire.
This stuff is very soft and very tough against cuts and abrasions, it is well worth the money.

Hell i check ebay for oem parts at deep discount prices, while you will not always find it as cheap as others you can rest assured the oem part will last.

How much will it cost you to tow it back home when that cheap pump fails?
How many days off will you need to get it fixed and running?
There are just too many if's when you cheap out.
I got an advance auto alt and the regulator went out on it and had to get another one, this time i went to rockauto and got a new one, they are well worth the money getting something of quality. I rarely ever shop local anymore as the quality of parts sucks.

See if gates racing makes the blue belt for your vehicle, it should last longer than the standard belt.

I prefer welding cable, i like a thicker and more durable jacket covering the wire from chaffing and melting.
You can get it in tinned and copper strands.

Does anyone know what amp class the linear power 4.1HVS is? I see their new amps say they are a/b. I couldnt find any details of what class the 4.1HVS is from the sites manual or anything.

According to the owners manual it was made in 1997 which puts it way before class D were being widely made and distributed.

Unless they state it is a class D, i think it would be safe to assume it is class A/B.

Anyone know how to stop wasps from nesting up in my car door twice a week?

Used to use WD40 on bee nest when i installed cable to kill em, but i'm not sure if it is enough to keep them out for good. Would use the same on wasps when i came across them on occasion.

If ya'll got a family and kids, dont ride streetbikes/motorcycles.Everyone i know/knew that rode bikes passed away in a bike accident. And they all had kids. Sucks man.

Situational awareness is key, along with being seen by drivers so they know who, and what you are, i will ride with my high beams on so a person does not mistake me for a car that is farther away than i really am. That one change has completely stopped the "OMG i didn't see you" quotes people use, cause they are used to looking for cars and not motorcycles. Listen, i may piss some people off with the use of high beams, and my life is more important than your discomfort for a few seconds, and i see other bikers doing the same thing as me and have no anger towards them as i fully understand what it means to ride as safe as we can.

in Either i didnt use the dmm the right way or its more complicated than i thought lol. My dmm read 11.5 v on the battery while car completely off. Figured the battery was fine and something technical was wrong. Scheduled an apt at the dealers and a towing from AAA. Aaa said they could come take a look at it and see if they can help any. They hooked up a charge and the car started less than 10s after they hooked it up!? Lol wtf. The guy said the battery was really low, around 7v!? He said his machine simulates the car starting up or something, thats why my dmm read 11.5v but his charge machine read 7v??? Whats the deal wih that, can someone explain how that works just so i know a lil more.
His machine also shows the alternator is fine so he thinks i mustve left a light on or something and thats why it was dead in the morning. Glad thats sorted out for now. Hopefully thats all it was. How do i make sure my battery is good? If it went down to 7v is it gonna be able to hold this charge? After a few mins of being hooked up it was back to 12v. seems super fast .

Get one of these to help with finding problems that are drawing your battery down with the key off.
Simply start to pull one fuse at a time and stick the probe in the slot where the fuse goes and see if it lights up, in the event the light does light up you know something is wrong and needs to be checked out.

Sounds like the batt is done. DMM? Might be resting at 11 or so. Take it to your local battery shop and have them put a load on it.
