There were going to be momentum changes throughout the game regardless of Colt getting hurt. Would Texas have been a totally different team with him? DUH, of course, but Alabama would have been different too. Alabama completely changed their game plan when he went out. There is no way you can say Texas would have won with him because he went out so early. You might as well say first team to score wins because there is no way a team can make changes and adapt, there is a reason games are 60 minutes long. Ps: I think some of the band wagon fans are SEC fans. I know I was cheering for Bama simply because they are SEC.

So what are the formulas for port area of a round port and slot port? I am confused as JL says 3"*14" port would give me 26hz.
-
Based on JLs recommendations, a 12W0v2 needs 3"*14" of port, if I am calculating right that is 9.42sq" of port. That comes out to be a tiny slot port and just seems like something is wrong. They recommend 26hz tuning. Am missing something or does it just need a small port.

I don't remember that at all but if I were to guess, it would be a 4 ohm load.

IIRC that component set gives you 2 options for hooking them up. One was is that each mid and tweeter has it's own input into the crossover. The other way is to have each set (mid and tweeter) run from a single input into the crossover. There is a switch (or jumper or something) in/on the crossover that lets you select how the inputs work on the crossover.

Looks like you were both right, a PWK box that is a horn style.

I know very little about boxes and ports, and as I was browsing through craigslist I saw this box and I don't understand the port. Anyone who can help explain it?

Do you by chance have your iPod plugged into a power supply when trying this? -

Do you plan on adding a headunit? I would try that before assuming the EQ is bad. -

My guess is that right there. Take the RCAs from your iPod out of the EQ and see if it stops. -
So, my subs (8 years old) I think are dead. As long as I keep the bass low, it is ok, as soon as I start to crank it, they sound blown. But aside from that, the rest sounds beautiful. I know it is itty-bitty compared to other systems here and since all I did was put door speakers and one amp in, I didn't take any build pictures except for one. But I will show the finished (minus subs) product here. Doors Upper glove box (now hold xovers) Amp with seat in normal position Amp with seat all the way forward Dash? What dash? All this to get the power wire from the battery.
