If I just add your VCM will I be able to get my 12v batteries charging in the 15.5-15.8 range?
-
No I dont have any warning lights come on. It idles at 14.6 with a max of 14.8. I am looking to get into the 15.5-15.8 range. It is being built as a daily driver that will do a few competition but not much. What can you do for me.

Im not 100% sure. Here is the best pic I have of them right now. I am using an MLA module right now but am not completely happy. I am also interested in possibly changing over from my kinetik batteries. Could you PM me a price for your D1400 14v batteries. I am going to be running 12-15000 watts. Thanks

What kicker 1200.1 are you running? They just came out with 1 ohm stable amps new for 2010 but i think they only go up 2 1000.1 in the 1 ohm stable line. -
I am planning on putting in 2 Solo X 18s running 2500 watts per using a 16.5 total cubic foot box with 200 sq in port by 18in long. This is going into a 2006 Expedition. Any suggestions on sub and port placement to get the best results.

Since there seem to be some different opinions here I will list my whole setup so yall know exactly what ive got in the truck. This is in a 2006 f150 by the way. 1 Kinetik 2000 in the front 3 Kinetik 3800 in the bed 1 Iraggi 260 amp alt in stock location 1 Iraggi 300 amp dual alt 1 Kicker warhorse 10000.1 amp 1 Kicker 850.4 mids and highs amp 2 Kicker Solo X 18s Alot of JL Audio Component and Coaxials Both alternators are wired directly to the front battery then there are 2 runs of 0 ga running to the back batteries, 1 into each side and then connected to the middle battery.
-
Thats what i was thinking but then i was looking at steves wiring diagram for his tahoe and it looks like he has his alternators wired straight to the back as well.
-
When doing a dual alternator setup what is the best way to run power wire to get the most out of your alternators. Right now i just have power running from both alternators to the front battery and then 2 0 gauge power wires running to the back batteries. Should I run power wires from the alternators to the back batteries as well?
