  1. hahaha wise words right there ^^^^ and yeah that sonoma does look pretty damn boss... thanks guys, im on the lookout for an s10 or sonoma now
  2. price range= I'm a student lol.... i said f-150 cuz im not sure about how big some of the other "less-trucky" brands are... damn that sonoma looks good. i've been wanting an s10 forever but they seem kinda generic, like everyone has one. id prefer to be a bit different. what did you mean by "put a hard cover on and be done"? thanks guys, i really appreciate it!
  3. Hey all, I'm looking to buy myself a new (to me) truck. Lookin' for something smallish, no bigger than an F-150, around the size of a ford ranger/GMC canyon etc. So, suggestions? all i really need is for it to run, have some aftermarket support, and enough bed room for 2 or 3 full hockey bags. Thanks all!
  4. anyone wana hit me up with some DC gear? I'd love to see my girl in some...
  5. hey i could use a few boxes made, can i email you google sketchup designs?
  6. okay sounds like ill be taking that out and plugging it. thanks!
  7. can i port a box with the woofer on one side and a "dummy" on the opposite side?
  8. 38hz is not full range, true... i guess what i mean is i want response in lower areas than 38hz
  9. no voice, just something lower than 38 frickin hz... stupid home audio woofers
  10. i already have a woofer that goes down to about 38hz. what's the best way to get lower; sealed, ported, or t-line?
  11. Hey guys, I'm looking for a full-range 8" woofer. So far I've found kicker subs that go down to 25 and 28hz; is this low enough to sound good in a sealed enclosure? Thanks
  12. lol this thread turned out a hell of a lot funnier than it was supposed to... I've checked up on the tubing idea and the ports need to be crazy long. could sealing it help get it lower?
  13. anyone know of a place where i could find better specs on this sub? the instruction manual and website are very limited. could i maybe do some calculations on my own?
  14. what do you mean by this? like at the pipe where the sub is mounted and mount the sub on the pipe? please explain
  15. what do you mean by this? like at the pipe where the sub is mounted and mount the sub on the pipe? please explain
  16. I was expecting an answer like that ^^ now, being the noob that I am, I ask you this: is there any specific way to build a t-line box considering how many baffles to use, where to put them, etc? I know their dimensions will effect the tuning, but it would be great if someone could point me towards a calculator of sorts or something like that. sorry for noobing it up lol
  17. hahahaha yeah my gf wouldn't approve of that...(not to say I would care ) anyways, it's from a Coby 75-watt system, CS-MP77
  18. okay, thanks. just how low do you think i can get cleanly with this woofer/setup?
  19. Hey guys, I just got a small 2.1 system for my dorm room and wanna know if i can build a custom enclosure to get some lower tones out of the sub, or if I'll need to get a new (full range) sub. What kinda enclosure would yield a better low end? The woofer is a 5". Thanks
  20. Theyre stock right now, seems like the "shock" isnt strong enuf. U think i could just replace those instead?
  21. Ya i realized that when i looked at a few pics. I do remember there being a company that made kits that allow the doors to go 130 degrees
  22. Hey guys, the doors on my acura tl piss my off as they always seem to want to close on me. Where could i go for a lambo door kit to put an end to my evil ride? Thanks
  23. I presume u mean the zx1000.1? And what exactly do you mean by the amp being tuned right? Sorry for all the noobness, you guys are really really helpful!
  24. Well, bein on a budget id like to stay on the less expensive side. I understand running a 750.1 and splitting it would only give me 375 watts per amp and thus not max power. How big of a difference is having that extra 125 watts? Will i be ok consistently running over the rms?
