  1. that happened to my cousin a while ago. I can't believe I didn't think of that
  2. That diagram didnt make any sense to me. So are you saying that you have two pairs of RCAs. One set is too big and the other set won't carry the signal?
  3. I'd try RCAs from a different company cuz the ones you have could be cheaped and ripped inside the rubber (rare, but possible). Fosgate must have good rcas considering all of steves cable is from Rockford
  4. New RCAs from a different company. The rcas that don't work are probably for ur subs. Check your deck for settings on the sub. I know that some alpines have an option to turn on and off the subs. Some alpines also have a control that controls sub level
  5. iTunes said the same thing when I updated to 3.1. You just need to try again later
  6. I'd put it in recovery mode (turning off, and pluging into iTunes while holding the home button after its off) restore it. If that doesn't fix the problem, bring it back to iTunes and noone will know it's been jailbroken
  7. my dad had his fosgate amp mounted on his enclosure without problems but his setup was weak. What kind of car do you have, that would help answer your question.
  8. Idk what kinda car or enclosure you have but maybe the enclosure? Or under the seat (like Steve, that way it won't fall)
  9. Thanks, shit looks pretty advanced and detailed which i like..its the price thats keeping me away. haha
  10. I guess I took that the wrong way. What calculator did you use to figure out the tuning
  11. Chill out, no need to be a dick..it was just a question
  12. I used the exosport calculator and it said 2.1 cubes at 32hz. I knew the internal volume was wrong because I multiplied all the dimensions and divided by 1728 and it was about 2.9 cubes. What calculator did you use to find the tuning?
  13. Here are the specs on the enclosure All the wood is 3/4 inch MDF Length-17 inches Width- 17 inches Depth- 17.5 inches Here are port specs (3/4 inch MDF) Height-3.25 inches Width- 2 inches Length- 5 inches ---------------------------- What is the port tuned to and what is the internal volume of the enclosure
  14. I got that same exact text..it scared me for a second
  15. Would a D5100 up front and a D3100 in the back for the amps be alright?
  16. What size alternator would i need to handle about 6000 watts (Two 2600 watt hifonics amps and a 4 channel 400 watt fosgate amp)? I only want one alternator. Would 260 amps be good?
  17. The Q is rated as half the power. Also the Q is more for SQ while the BTL is more for SPL. the btl should be louder . The enclosure has a major impact though
  18. Damn, thanks for ur answers and advice. I'll be getting the car and equipment in a couple of months when I turn 16
  19. Thanks for the input though. I am doing some research and checking reviews on the Audioque and didnt find anything negative. I like their price too..to bad theyre out of stock tho. Ill probably wait and get 2 Audioques. Do you think I should put 2 "stock" Qs on the AQ2200 and wire it down to 1 ohm. Srry, Im kinda new with all this
  20. Thanks, if I get one I'd put 2 Qs on it. I don't wanna have to worry about it blowing. I was also checking out the Soundstream DTR1.2200 because i know that it's rated at 14.4 volts. Do you know anything about Soundstream and know if that rating is true?
  21. I'm getting a small Mazda Tribute though so at a decent height, I only have 13.2 cubes in my cargo area. If you add sub dispacement, port displacement, and the wood to make the woofer I have about just over 10 cubic feet of airspace. I'm thinking the Qs just based on the airspace
  22. Let's be somewhat general because I don't have all the stuff yet. Let's say 1 ohm, 1/0 gauge wire, and with the voltage dropping to 13.5 volts at the most
  23. One more question..how many true watts do you thing the 2010d would put out at 1 ohm
  24. Im getting a small Mazda Tribute so I dont have that much room..only 13.2 cubes and thats not including the port, sub, and wood to actually make the box.
