none really, save up and get a good amp. But you can use that money to get a damn nice ported box rockin. it will sound alot better. Then save up for a real amp. IMHO

Dont get me wrong, I am a Kicker fan, but there is better to be had for the same money. Check out a few of the builds on this site and you will start to see a pattern developing. FI, Sundown, DD, Ascendant, and a few others get used quite a bit on here and they are really a better deal than the Solo-X's.

If it is just surface rust, aka no pitting, you can sand it down to bare metal then put a self etching primer then a sealer. If it has started pitting then you can use a rust converter something like this
http://www.bicwarehouse.com/rust-reformer-7830-730.html
then prime and seal, but this is just a temporary band-aid. Another thing to think about is you are going to have to do both sides of the metal.
If it has started pitting and getting into the metal the only way to fix it right is to remove and replace the rusted area.

May he rest in peace. Karma has a way of coming back around to drunk bastards like that. Be strong for his family.

The elbow is always fun. Really dig it.

I sped. I followed too closely. I ran a stop sign. I almost hit a Chevy. I sped some more. I failed to yield at a crosswalk. I changed lanes at the intersection. I changed lanes without signaling while running a red light and *speeding*!
lol
Something is wrong with me.

You could buy it and most muffler shops have tools to flare the tubing to go up to the right size. then run 3" out the tail
-
I think this would make a good start to something really loud.
-
Nice, how many horns did it have?
-
honestly depends on how much you want to spend. You could do all for wheels for like 60 bucks but that would be using all cheap stuff, the nicer the paint ect the more its gonna cost.
-
sandpaper + etching primer + paint + clearcoat + Time = Shiny steel wheels
-
for cars i charge $1000
midsize suvs $1300
trucks/suvs $1800
and that includes my buying the paint =) but the prices definitely go up if theyre wanting something extra nice, glossy, or candy. but like you, im in alaska, lol
your avatar is distracting lol

I gotta get to Cali and get a demo, lol

Just my 2 cents, you said you have to buy the guy a compressor? I honestly don't know a single auto painter that doesn't own his/her (dont wanna be sexist lol) own air compressor. Its kinda one of those have to have kind of things. Im not saying that the guy may or may not be any good, but 1600 for a paint job isnt bad even if you are helping with the sanding if the guy is good. I would say look at his portfolio of paint jobs and if he dont have one find someone else.
-
If it was me, I'd use it like a bigass piggy-bank. And just dig the money out every 6 months or so lol.
+ 1 on the metal idea.
-
its funny, but it shouldnt be. i'm goin to hell.... lol

For the record, all vehicles that are not equipped with 4wd are scared of heights, I saw it on Oprah. Bags set up for 22's would be hot Also you could put on the wires when you wanna change it up. IMO
-
sorry im not trying to be an ass
its all good, i had a brain fart
-
im sorry they are called helicoils. this was just the first thing that came up on google but they carry them at Home Depot im pretty sure
-
There is also a rethreading kit, I believe they are called tapcon rethreading kit. They are made to put new threads into stripped out metal, They use a hardened steal thread insert, that basically you tap it into the new area and it has the same internal thread as the original screw hole. It is really hard to strip those once you insert them. Good way to go IMHO

Go find a general contractor, they are always lookin for people. Its hard work but usually pays good and for the most part you only have to work during the day. Roofers also are another route. Hey look at it this way, end up with a badass tan and some extra muscle on top of getting the beats you are looking for. Just my 2 cents.
