  1. As long as its solid it doesn't really matter how it's mounted. The seatbelts are where the safety comes from...

:WTFBubble: seats have to be torqued to a certin point inorder to condiser them safe, you also need to use certin grade bolts, meaning if i use a 2 grade bolt that shit will break so easily under pressure its not even funny, but if i use a 5 grade bolt, thats 10x harder to break, seats them selfs have ALOT to do with safety...just saying

but @ op, ive seen people just use steel blocks to raise the seat, im pretty sure any sturdy metal will work, just make sure you torque the bolts, idrc off the top of my head whats recomended but some cars its diffrent, 80% or so are the same, they also make brackets aswell for the seat folding down iirc, if not just fab something up

  2. i learned on my idiot stupid retarted classmates audi A4 that he dident even know how to drive, we were whipping it around our school and i picked it up quicker my first time then he did whipping it around a week lol, i dont drive stick normally, but my buddy gave me his 88 GMC 1500 since he went off to the navy and i drive it around the farm lol, im getting there

  3. Not sure 100% what this does but i think we all kinda have an idea of its purpose...My question is whats the point of this. Most manufacturers test amps before they ship and provide you with actual performance of your amplifier. Also what does it matter if your 3500W amp really does 4500watts...after rise and other factors your never see that power anyway.

Again I haven't seen anything say exactly what this does but the only place I can see this useful is with someone who has too much money and time on there hands to sit around and "dyno" amps.

im gunna agree with you half way jeff, i think its a good idea for companys...dc/sundown....etc, and people who repair amps and such, hell maybe even some comp. orgs. will pick it up, who knows, but ill bet money that its going to have a hefty price tag that the avarage joe is not going to be able to afford

  4. My thought is this

Your cap does not create any energy at all. All a cap does is store and burst energy when it is demanded. This means that your alternator and the rest of your charging system works even between bass hits to keep filling up your cap.

On the other hand, because energy is not being created or destroyed the cap does not really HURT anything it just doesn't HELP anything. I have seen them used on big mids/highs amps to smooth voltage in hopes of increasing SQ which is interesting but I've never tried it.

I think caps can be most efficient in setups where there is plenty of charging system and the cap is not being used as a band-aid to cover up a more deeper problem in your overall charging system.

    perfectly said

and not my amps, i work at a shop and plenty of people come in and say my amp doesnt work, 9/10 the cap fried the amp, or the cap died
