  1. My thought is this

Your cap does not create any energy at all. All a cap does is store and burst energy when it is demanded. This means that your alternator and the rest of your charging system works even between bass hits to keep filling up your cap.

On the other hand, because energy is not being created or destroyed the cap does not really HURT anything it just doesn't HELP anything. I have seen them used on big mids/highs amps to smooth voltage in hopes of increasing SQ which is interesting but I've never tried it.

I think caps can be most efficient in setups where there is plenty of charging system and the cap is not being used as a band-aid to cover up a more deeper problem in your overall charging system.

    perfectly said

and not my amps, i work at a shop and plenty of people come in and say my amp doesnt work, 9/10 the cap fried the amp, or the cap died

  2. Voltage drop? It's stock alt/battery.

& believe me, I've checked and rechecked a dozen times. All the polarity is correct and it is in parallel circuit.

no harm in trying one last time, could be a bad wire too, try new or diffrent wire

  3. Hm, it could be gains, or voltage drop. Have you done the big three? what is you alt/batt looking like, stock or upgraded?

its not either...im still gunna with with wiring, OP take ALL the wiring off your subs, and re do them according to the link i posted

    http://www.the12volt...=2&I=41#results

and make sure your connections are good when you hook the wire up to the subs, if they have those tabs, use female connectors, if they have the push ones, make sure your grabbing the wire, not the plastic

  4. u have a multi meter?

    yeah

put either of the probes on your ground, then put the other to bare metal(no paint), set your DMM to ohms (20 or so) and see what it reads, anything more then .04 is no good? idr, >>>>that .04 might be for parasitic drain and on millivolts <<<<<dis regaurd that OP lol talking to my self

  5. I myself am getting the samsung galaxy s 2 also. Sister used my upgrade to get her's this week. Be getting mine next month. Be my first smart phone. Going from a brick to that is going to be weird. lol

its nice, im still learning how to work it and all that crap, but its a huge diffrence from my droid 2 global, the camara is awesome!, its real thin too, which i like, the droid was a damn brick in my pocket, its pretty light too, ill give it a month before i say its an amazing phone, took my droid that long to start acting funny, the key board is a little werid on it, but that just might be cuz i was so used to the one on my droid

  6. i just picked up the galaxy s 2 today, loving the thing so far, paying 97$ for the first month till i get my rebate which is 250$ which i paid for the phone, after i get that back im switching down to the 69.99 plan then the 8$ insurance which brings it to 78$ a month, which is more affordable then verizon, only down side is the speaker could be a little bit louder
