I wont be doing any drag racing but my test board will be complete within the next two weeks.
On the cool side of testing will be a rare Fosgate Power Series 25x2 (DSM Model) along with the 50m some PPI and Soundstream
Is that what you bought the caps for?

easier said then done.Wish I could afford one right now but sad to say I can't. Guess I will have to wait for the all in one tool. Combine all of them in one package.
That's kinda like saying "I want snowbanks that are also comfortable on the beach" or "I want a hammer that can also drill holes and cut through 2x6's.

Sure, there are "accurate" ways to clamp. I posted a vid pretty much showing that. But in all honesty, who has a load to use besides a subwoofer? You'll still need an appropriate high quality o-scope to find the phase angle. I'm not saying that it can't be done with some degree of accuracy, but for us normal guys that don't own a shop it's so much easier to just buy the tools. Even if I did own a shop, I would take the AMM or AD method over having to use 3-4 tools at once all day every day, even if they are a little more expensive. Convenience and accuracy are not cheap.
Plus so much easier/faster/simpler/efficient.

Still around... Long story short I was hanging around the wrong crowd and got addicted to heroin. Tried getting help and ended up relapsing. Then got arrested and did 6 months in county. I've been out for a month now and don't plan on ever going back to that chaotic lifestyle.
Currently just trying to get back on my feet. No car and no job but I am clean!
I also would like to apologize to anyone that I have hurt or fucked over in the process. Those were never my intentions and it will obviously take some time to gain some trust back but the SMD family is worth it
Swung by Steve's shop today to say what's up and let's just say some habits never die... Car audio being one of them.
Hopefully soon I'll have a new project to work on but for now I just wanted to check in
It takes alot to step up and say that, props for coming clean and realizing that that's a lifestyle that's not one to live a life in.
One of my closest friends battles hard with H and so I know first hand that even good people can get mixed up with bad shit.
Keep it up man, I look forward to seeing you around here again, glad to know you're back
