EBC makes some, but dustless pads squeak and kinda sucks for stopping.

Man some of you guys are funny. You act like, how dare he question the sub....Its a DC, there is no way it could be flawed.
If he had the volume as low as he said and the gains were set right, it was likely a flaw with the coil.
This whole thread could be avoided if someone would have just given him Rustys number like he asked.

I have a lightly used Sundown 3000D. The only mark on it is where I screwed the feet down, other than that it is perfect. It will come in the original box and unused bass knob. I believe I still have all the paperwork too.
I would like to get $640 shipped to the 48.

If your box is aimed back in the trunk and you hear air noise, I doubt its coming from the ports. Unless you are hearing it just when you have the trunk open.
I'm not questioning your box building ability, but I would check for leaks elsewhere on the box first. Then if the ports truly are the problem, just order some PSP 3" Aero's. Or pm me, I think I have a few extras I could cut you a deal on.

I'm looking for two 8" woofers. They either need to be dual 4's or single 2 ohms.
I need them in good shape mechanically and cosmetically.

Bazooka did the liquid cooled amps a while ago, but it didn't really catch on. I think its a really cool idea. Go for it!

I would guess the belt is too tight putting a strain on the engine. Were you pulling a lot of current when this was happening?
