I just got my stereo installed and I went to use my new SMD DD-1 to detect distortion from my head unit but I’m having some issues. (yes I’ve read the manual) so I’m using a 1khz test track off of Apple Music since my head unit doesn’t have a CD player. I have no speaker wire hooked up to my amp just the RCA’s from the head unit . I get a voltage on my multi meter but when I use the SMD DD-1 I can turn the head unit volume all the way up and I get no signal detection light and no distortion light. I also tried messing with the gain control on the amp and still no signal or distortion light. Head unit is set to flat in EQ and all crossovers are set to full range. Tried a 40hz test tone as well and same results. Just a power light and no signal or distortion lights. Head unit puts out 5 volts pre amp voltage. Multi meter shows voltage to all the channels including sub. My last issue is I tried messing with different tones and whatnot for about 30 minutes and sometimes when I turn the SMD on the distortion light is on all the time even when I’m not touching anything with the probes. Then when I turn it off and get it to turn on without acting up it still doesn’t work when trying to detect signal or distortion. Anyone have any insight or advice?

what is so funny? I am STILL the only one i know who drives people to this site. Rarely do i see anyone tell other people to come here. If i find a way to get 10,000 people to come here, a couple hundred to register and 10 to stay i guess it is better than nobody ever looking, coming, registering or staying.

Sorry guys!! i am DEEPLY affected by this!! i have years and years of photo's uploaded here and i am ROYALLY fucked! I HAVE to pay it...just so my old shit won't disappear. I don't even use it anymore i upload directly to this site and have for a while now...at least since the last update.
bummer ass shit i wish you guys luck with it! it sucks on my end bad! FUCK photobucket!!!

Since Photobucket is TRASH I got the okay to upgrade the Supporting member accounts for uploading direct to the site. Bronze members get 3mb per pic.
Silver members get 6mb per pic.
Gold members get 9mb per pic.
Lets try these numbers and see how it goes. Im hoping that gold package will be large enough for users to not have to edit their photo sizes at all!Thank!!

Built an 4.2cuft box..glued the aero port w some super attack glue...fucked up kinda but cant get the tube from the aero separated on any chance unless I break the aero in half..soo wanted to get the port on the outside part of the box

that's why i don't glue those unless i KNOW the box isn't changing. Duct tape or even electrical tape works great till you know for sure. You can buy CA Glue "Uncure", that might break that joint loose.
